Ed purchased this House in 2012
Why Ed chose Beachwood-Bluffton
The wonderful sandy beaches and the friendly community. Boat traffic through the channel is so entertaining its like watching a water parade during the day. A boater, fishermans, and beach goers delight
What makes this House unique
The smell of fresh water breezes, the boat traffic on the channel while sipping morning coffee, the fog horn in the distance on low visibility days, and seeing the joy of all those in the area knowing they are in a very special part of the world. Peaceful.

Beautiful home! Unbelievably well stocked from the kitchen to toys for the kids. A little cold while we were there but the floor to ceiling windows made it feel like we were outdoors enjoying the amazing views of the channel, it’s boat traffic and unbelievable sunsets! Ed was kind and generous enough to even bring us fishing poles so we could join the fishermen on the pier! No luck catching any fish but what fun we had! We had 4 generations there and didn’t want to leave - already planning a return trip to this beautiful house! Thanks again Ed!
Fall is great here. While a slower pace the fishing picks up, and color tours are amazing. And lake michigan stays warm into October so the weather is mild. And then when winter kicks in we have a great winter sports complex with luge and ice skating sports, and lots of snow activities.
Everything we expected and more.
The property had a designer look. Simply beautiful. It had everything that was advertised in the write up. In addition, the owner provided everything you would need not including food, avoiding a trip to the store for things like dishwasing liquid, laundry detergent, spices. Houseware that met all of our needs; hosting a 75th birthday party and a baby shower. The site is wonderful, close to Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. The channel provided boating and fishing entertainment for all of us. A perfect week.
Ah shucks. We work to make every stay a perfect experience, and we are close by for a concierge touch if needed. Thanks
This is a beautiful house with all the amenities of home. The house was impeccable and the owner takes great pride in the property. There are 3 floors to this house. If you have someone in your party that can’t do stairs.. they can stay on the main floor.
It’s a short 6 minute walk to the beach or an even shorter drive. The pier and the light house are within walking distance.
This was a sisters weekend so relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine on the deck was perfect while we watched the boat parade.
Thanks for the great weekend!
September is a little slower here and for many locals their favorite month. The big lake stays warm into October, and there are still several beach days, along with cooler temps and a breeze at nite....Thanks
Beautiful home, perfect location!
This home is very well equipped (2 full kitchens, each fully stocked with cookware and dishware), and beautifully decorated. One of the bedrooms on the first floor even has a selection of children’s toys, games, and books, which was a bonus for my toddler boys (also a set of bicycles outside, including cool handmade trike). Another good thing for toddlers was that the top of the staircase to the second floor has a full door that can be closed to help alleviate fear of kids falling downstairs in a new place. One of the bathtubs has jets/jacuzzi, so nice! The beds were comfortable, and the a/c worked great! We rented a pontoon and docked it at the house all week no problem. It was such a treat to watch the boat traffic crusing through the channel. The house is walking distance to submarine museum, park, beach, lighthouse, and deck restaurant. Absolutely excellent experience for our first family vacation to Lake Michigan!
Wow, that says a bunch. We are also walking distance to two restaurant /pubs with excellent food and live music weekends. We are always excited to help make it a better than expected stay...
Great place. Only thing missing is direct beach access.
Fabulous. Well stocked with equipment and supplies. Could not have been better!
The property worked well for our multi generation family.
We have lots of folks from the southern US travel to see us to escape the summer heat. Glad we could give you a little relief. September is also a great month here as Lake Mi keeps us mild until October. We went swimming with water temps in the 70s every weekend last year in September.
This property is located near (20 minute drive) Michigan's largest amusement Park & Water Park, Michigan Adventure. You can walk to a navel museum and tour a WW2 submarine. During winter months, enjoy the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex at the Michigan State Park which features an Olympic class luge, ice skating and lighted cross country skiing. Ice fishing on Muskegon lake during winter months has been exceptional.
Its a short walk to the beaches of Lake Michigan or Muskegon Lake.
