We had a wonderful experience at this home! The home exceeded our expectations in both quality and location. The photos don't do it justice! Our family had a wonderful stay. We all enjoyed watching the boats on the channel -- some far bigger than I expected! The area is beautiful and the home is within minutes of Pere Marquette Beach, one of the nicest public beaches we've been to! The hosts were thoughtful and generous with the cleaning supplies and toiletry items made available to us. Check-in went smoothly (thanks for such clear instructions) and the check-out requirements were very reasonable. This was our kids' first trip to Lake Michigan and we hope to return soon. I highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The house itself was as advertised, including the location by the channel. We loved watching the ships/boats go by. We saw beautiful sunsets within a short walk towards the channel. The house was super clean, although it could have used better cookware. We had quiet evenings, which we liked. The heater/ac was quite responsive; the temperature w inside was always perfect.The not so perfect part of it was that the roads around it, especially by the beach area leading to the property, were being worked on. It was a bit inconvenient to drive to places, including to the local restaurants, from there. We had to find ways to drive around the road work, as some streets were blocked. There were also big pot holes on the street that the house was on; they were filled with water when we got there, as it had rained prior to our arrival.If we had known about the road work, we might not have opted to stay there.I am not sure if we would be back. When the road construction is completed, this might be a good place for a small family/group to stay and be near the beach.

Clean and convenient!

Loved staying at the channel house. Having dock access made the trip even more special, as my family could swing by and pick us up for beach days. Simply cannot beat the location. The property is clean and great for families with children.

It was great to have the boats to watch coming in and out of the channel. Very relaxing and close to beaches. It only rained once, and the sun was out most days. I wish my stay could have been longer.

Great spot to relax and enjoy the area.

Excellent property location on the inlet channel. Spent most the time in the yard on the water relaxing, fishing, grilling and watching the sunsets.

Retirement celebration 😊

Beautiful views and very peaceful! We enjoyed being close enough to Lake Michigan yet without the crowds. We ate at a variety of restaurants which were all very good. We'll definitely return.

August 2024 Muskegon Trip

Lake fun!

We loved our time in Muskegon! The house was perfect for our small family. The location made it easy to walk to the beach, a few restaurants, and other attractions. We especially loved eating breakfast on the dock and watching boats and wildlife go by. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!
