Thank you for your kind words! We're so glad you enjoyed the cabin, the peaceful setting, and the sounds of the creek. We also appreciate you leaving the extra spices for future guests! Just to clarify for future visitors, the gravel driveway is the designated area for vehicles. There is no turnaround area at the cabin, so guests can either back down the driveway upon arrival, back up the driveway when departing, or simply park at the top in the cul-de-sac. The grassy yard, where the fire pit is located, is not intended for vehicle access or turning around. We're happy you enjoyed your stay and appreciate you sharing your experience!

Your stay coincided with a hurricane, which you were aware of prior to your arrival. These were extraordinary weather conditions, not representative of the typical experience at our property. Had you reached out with concerns before your stay, we would have gladly accommodated a cancellation with a full refund. Our cabin is intentionally located in a peaceful, secluded mountain setting, where winding roads and beautiful natural surroundings are part of the experience. We understand that mountain travel may not be everyone's preference, particularly during severe weather. We take guest safety seriously and appreciate your suggestions regarding arrival information. However, we do feel that a 2/10 rating based largely on conditions caused by a hurricane is not a fair reflection of our property or the experience we work hard to provide. While we cannot control the weather, we certainly would have worked with you had you expressed your concerns before traveling.
