Sleep peacefully in one of 4 bedrooms (4 bath), a 6 person bunk room or in the loft with beds for 16 of your favorite people (requires special arrangements for more than 16).! Awaken to wilderness sounds, talk a morning stroll onto the private 26 X 20 dock or retreat to the screened porch. Be embraced by the enveloping Smokey Mountains as you wind down your evening by the fire pit, have dinner in the screened in porch or family time in the media room. A bar, shuffle board, & 60 inch movie screen awaits you! Two washer dryers are available for large groups and a double oven to accommodate large events. An actual front yard (rare in these parts) allows for outdoor games or children's play. A picnic table can be enjoyed on the covered deck and the incline to the lake is unusually non-strenuous for this area. The Are there hikers in your crew? The Appalachian Trail is a mile hike from our front door and that is only the beginning of what you may experience in the surrounding area

Lake Nantahala is conveniently located a 2.5 hour drive from Atlanta, & 2 hours from Chattanooga, Asheville, and Knoxville. Knoxville Airport is closest, however the drive is windy unless you drive through Chattanooga.

Hiking, biking, great fishing in lake or rivers, boating, whitewater rafting, tubing, antique shopping, snow skiing or water skiing are only some of the activities to enjoy...the possibilities are endless .....We are 40 minutes away from the new Casino in Murphy, NC.

Family gathering of 4 generations

  • 5 of 5

Our family traveled from IN and GA (ages 2 years to 84 years old.) Having all of that space worked great for our family when the 2 yr. old was asleep and the 20 somethings wanted to play games, watch movies, or hang out in the basement. We boated, fished, kayaked, jumped off the cliff by the dam (a few of us!) hiked to the waterfall, had a corn hole tournament, and just sat on one of the many porches and relaxed. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

  • 5 of 5

We can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us ! This home is 1st class in every way. The owners were fantastic to deal with the entire time. We’ve been going to this area for five years and I think we all agree that this was our favorite house. Already trying to figure out next years dates to rebook.

Thank you ,

The Tyler Family

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home with amazing views. Secluded cove. Everything included -- no need to bring linens, paper products, laundry/dish detergents. Home was immaculate. Rustic decor and cozy fireplace fit in perfectly with the surroundings. So much to do nearby. Owners thoughtfully left two bottles of wine and candy as a welcome gift. The only thing I would change would be to add blinds on the bathroom windows. We had to make sure kids weren't on deck or out front when we were showering (LOL). We can't wait to come back!
