Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home with amazing views. Secluded cove. Everything included -- no need to bring linens, paper products, laundry/dish detergents. Home was immaculate. Rustic decor and cozy fireplace fit in perfectly with the surroundings. So much to do nearby. Owners thoughtfully left two bottles of wine and candy as a welcome gift. The only thing I would change would be to add blinds on the bathroom windows. We had to make sure kids weren't on deck or out front when we were showering (LOL). We can't wait to come back!

Amazing amazing amazing

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 16 (8 adults, 8 children) and stayed in the house for 6 nights.

We had an incredible time - highlights included:

- swimming in the lake

- catching fish from the jetty

- kayaking (the kids spent hours on the lake)

- watching movies together

- hiking the local area

The remoteness of the house was a real plus for us - there's no mobile coverage and limited wifi meaning it was a complete switch off from the hecticness of everyday life.

I can't recommend this house highly enough for a large group wanting to spend quality time together.

My only regret was that we didn't book a longer vacation - 6 days wasn't enough!

Best vacation ever

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic house, fantastic location, absolutely no negatives. 3 generations from 4 to 67: 5 adults and 8 children. Plenty of room for everyone. Only thing that could make it better would be more seating in the great room and top level deck. We liked Lazy Bear so much that we have already reserved for 2018 !

Outstanding for 3 generations of our family. Don't pull your boat down to the house. Ha Ha

  • 5 of 5

Got there late on arrival day and pulled our 25 foot boat and 2 jet skis down to the house. Somehow got the boat turned around by disconnecting it from the truck. We then pulled it back out just as it was dark and in the midst of the Saturday fireworks show. Got on the lake where I had never been before. Headed in the general direction of the house. Turned on the lights on my boat and was stopped by the lake police to turn them off but I had a nice boat. Thankfully Mrs Russell had told me the fireworks were provided by a neighbor. So I found the house and the week was on. The house and location were fantastic. There was fun to be had by all. Our 5,6,8 year old grandchildren all skied for the first time on the same day. What a memory. Thanks to the Russel family for giving up their home to us. I know they probably had a fine time in the Tetons. We will definitely be back if you will have us.
