Bishops Brilliance La Jolla Village

This charming two-story cottage is just a short walk from La Jolla village's iconic shopping and dining. Even though you'll be a short walk to the ocean's edge and only about a 15-minute walk to downtown La Jolla - where you can find some great shopping options and eateries - make sure to bring your car because you'll want to check out all the popular sights of La Jolla and nearby San Diego. A 20-minute drive will take you to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, and Sea World is even closer!

The first floor has a newly renovated kitchen with granite counters and a gas range. The bedroom with a queen-sized bed and updated bathroom are also on the main level. The second story has the living area and the walk-out patio which has great neighborhood views. There are air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom.

Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
The cottage is in the backyard of a full-time residence .
Heat is from two portable heaters. There is no central heat.

Great La Jolla location for walking

Location was amazing if you like to walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Convenient parking with the unit, safe and quaint.

Great location with parking

Walk to the beach and all of La Jolla's restaurants. Comfortable bed, nice living area with good TV, and nice shower. Large parking area which easily fit my Suburban.

comfortable not luxurious

The two story unit has a light filled upper room with comfortable pull out couch. The bathroom and bedroom are quite small and a little dark but do their job with nice linens. The kitchen space worked for us but we didn’t cook much. The location is wonderful and enabled us to walk everywhere we needed to go.

Great Little Place

We enjoyed our short stay! The only thing I would change is the rug in the kitchen which is an outdoor rug. We felt safe staying here. The parking spot was great and I appreciated the lock on the fence and front door. We loved how close the grocery store was and the places to eat; we could have walked. I recommend the Taco Stand and Bernini's Bistro so delicious. We would stay here again. Thank you

Awesome Stay!

Great place! Clean, tidy, nice location, awesome parking space, and deck off the living room. Perfect for a couple (bedroom’s bed is sooo comfy)….and a plus one if you’re close to them/family. It’s a super comfy couch and it’s on a separate level. My only recommendation (as a suitcase traveler) is to have an iron in the unit. There’s an ironing board but no iron😞 That’s all I will definitely be back!!!!

Short stay

We’d originally planned to stay eight days, but left early due to a family emergency. That being said, we would have left early anyway. Not to be harsh, but the bedroom/ kitchen space were extremely small. My husband is 6’4” and 230 lbs. I’m small, but even so the bedroom was extreme small. We had to keep switching our luggage from unit to car to save space.

Excellent host, responsive management, and walk-friendly location. Easy walk to everything in La Jolla. Will rent here again when we return. Very private and quiet. Spacious living room with large tv on second floor. Good for a couple and a third sleeper on upstairs couch. Thanks!
