Property description

We purchased the condo in July 2013 and have made a number of improvements to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has a spectacular view of the prestigious Plantation Golf and Country Club's Bobcat course where the LPGA qualifying tournament has been held each year for the past 27 years. It is located on the third floor, 2 doors from the elevator and steps to the Association pool and clubhouse. It is conveniently close to a gas barbecue grill and the unit's carport is situated near the elevator. Plenty of guest parking is available.
Of the two bedrooms, the master suite has a king size bed, large walk in closet, flat panel tv and a bathroom with shower and two vanities. It has a sliding glass door to the screened lanai.
The guest bedroom has twin beds and adjacent bath room. The living room has comfortable seating, a flat panel tv, dvd player and cable. Wi-Fi is available for your internet connection. There is a sliding glass door to the screened lanai that has a table and chairs.
The dining area has a round table with four chairs. kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Also provided are linen, towels and a washer and dryer for convenience. Plantation and the Venice area offer a variety of activities and entertainment. There is an abundant amount of wild life to see, including Ospreys, bald eagles, sandhill cranes, fish, egrets, ibis, ducks and of course alligators. Sarasota County provides guided wildlife tours at many of the local, county and State Parks on a regular basis and for no fee. We live less that 10 minutes away and are available for assistance for any needs you may have. Sorry no pets. Non smoking only. Golf membership in Plantation available. Closer to Plantation are major retailers such as Walmart, Target and TJ Maxx as well as many fine local and franchise restaurants. The Venice Theatre offers first class plays, musicals and popular vocal groups. There is a gazebo type band stand situated in the public park in the center of the City which offers entertainment on a regular basis. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the music. Several public beaches are located within a 10 to 15 minute drive. 20-30 public and semi private golf courses are located nearby. All are well maintained and affordable. Major theme parks (Busch Gardens and Disney World are less than 2 hours away. Major airports are located in Sarasota (35 minutes), Tampa and Fort Myers (70 minutes). Year Purchased: 2013

About the owner: My wife Heidi and I decided to retire and relocate to Venice, Florida in 2004 after vacationing in many parts of Florida over a period of several years. We chose it for its proximity to beaches, recreational facilities, wild life and cultural amenities. Plantation is a very friendly adult community and we have thoroughly enjoyed the lifestyle of this first class Gulf Coast facility. We are full time residents and available for assistance to our tenants. By the way, Heidi speaks fluent German. Owners David and Heidi
