Valle Crucis Farm cabins are tucked in on the side of the mountain which gives you plenty of privacy and tranquility. Our clean, beautifully decorated cabins are the perfect combination for a fun vacation for the whole family.
There is a minimum of two nights for weekend stay. Also, for especial event and holidays there is a minimum nights requirement.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay! Such a cute, cozy cabin in a great location. Very scenic & quiet. Cabin was clean and bed was SO comfy. The Cabin was cozy and comfy for my wife and I. Very quiet and peaceful. The entry way to the cabin is a steep incline but it’s close to the parking lot. All in all a great place!

Mountain Retreat

Awesome location and cozy cabin. Lots of outdoor fun surroundings. Unfortunately, we had to cut our time short due to Helena’s approach. We hope to visit again soon.

Relaxing time

We had a great time. My husband and I had a perfect time for relaxing and enjoying the mountain. The cabin is very close to Banner Elk downtown and we had a delicious lunch. Everything was great!

Property manager/owner made all the difference! He was very easy and enjoyable to talk to. Asked if we had any questions or concerns during our stay at the bear cabin. Excellent stay!

Tiny cabin

The cabin is very nice for a couple. The walk is a little steep if you have problems walking not terrible and the shower is small. Perfect for two nights. Located out of the traffic of Boone very nice area!

The Bear Cabin

Cabin was very clean and we had good internet connection. However the main reason I booked this place was because it showed a playground that my grandson could play on, which is no longer there. The walkway up to the cabin is steep and was difficult as I have a hip problem. The shower is also very small. Everything else was good.

Peaceful weekend getaway

We decided last minute to getaway for the weekend and found this wonderful, quiet little cabin perched in the woods. It was the perfect size for my husband and I plus our little furry friend. Super quaint and cozy. Loved the decorating with all the right mountain cabin vibes. The bed was sooo comfy! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and we even enjoyed cooking out one evening. It was also a super location for us to enjoy hiking on the parkway and to run into Banner Elk and Boone but it was out of the hustle and bustle of the holiday mob for Christmas tree shopping. We will definitely stay again the next time we're up!

Hosts are super nice! They are always accessible but really leave you alone during your stay, unless you need them. Cabin is clean and cozy. Great location and beautiful property!! Second time staying here and both stays were great!!!

nice environment

We brought our 7.5 lb chihuahua with us. This place is small, but plenty of room for the three of us. The only thing that was frustrating was the tv reception. You could be in the middle of a program and it would start buffering and it could take a bit to finish. This may just be a problem due to location...not sure. But the stay was very pleasant.

Quaint Getaway

Visited the area to attend a wedding in neighboring Blowing Rock. Wanted something cute and away from the hussle & bussle of the town. Perfect location! Owner lives onsite and made himself easily available if needed. Grounds and accommodation were neat and well taken care of. Beware: When booking, follow the driving directions given. I made the mistake of inputting the address into my GPS, which brought me to a different location with the exact same street & number about 15-20mins away. Pros: Idyllic mountain getaway; cleanliness; efficient layout; onsite manager; scenic with neighboring stream and small farm; pet friendly. Con: Bathroom shower can be a little tight (I'm 6'3); access path is rather steep (as described) but doable.
