Ideally located in the center of town, our home is a skip and a hop to all the downtown shops, activities, restaurants and The Whaling Museum. Built in 1795 by Captain Folger, the house has been lovingly modernized while still retaining an abundance of the original details including wide plank floors, exposed beams, panelling and fireplaces. The house has four sunny bedrooms, three modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large living and dining rooms and a cozy TV room. The house has a brick dining patio and a beautiful large fenced in yard and a perennial garden featuring hydrangeas, lilies and roses. There is 1 on site parking available however the ferries and public transportation are only a short walking distance away if you choose not to bring a car .
If you are looking for old world Nantucket charm, modern conveniences and easy access to town and beaches this is your dream vacation home!

Most amazing, Historic house, Welcoming and Comfortable!!

This is a 5 star home !! We absolutely loved staying here and will for sure return in the future. Home is historic with tons of antiques which were selected by owners for comfort. House has the warmest and most inviting soul. Updated kitchen with modern appliances along with new bathrooms made our stay perfect. House is located half a block to all restaurants and shops. I have nothing but most wonderful review of this property. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to experience your special place.

Lovely home in heart of town

We loved our stay at this property. It was beautifully maintained with a gorgeous backyard space. It had plenty of room for our family. The location was super convenient, walkable to everything in town. Owner was very responsive. We cant wait to return!

Old world charm in a superb location.

This historic home right in the middle of Town is a gem. It's a beautifully appointed home, with a perfect mix of old world charm together with up to date furnishing. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, there is air conditioning on the second and third floors, and the lodging is comfortable. The location is amazing: truly perfect for kids and adults alike, on a quiet side street in the midst of Nantucket Town. We rented bikes, but only used them for excursions, as there was no need to use them to get around Town. The yard is fenced and immaculately manicured. We too brought our dog; we view dog-friendliness as a mandatory for a dog-friendly island such as Nantucket! We loved our stay, and you will too.

Incredible Home in Perfect Location

I can't say enough about this home. My (now) wife and I rented this townhouse the week leading up to our wedding this past Fall, and it was better than we could have imagined. First, the location is amazing- a quiet side street in the center of town, it is both quiet/private and centrally located. The home itself is truly beautiful, and the pictures don't do it justice. Each room has been impeccably preserved and decorated in the style of the 18th-century colonial townhouse that it is, but has been also updated in terms of bathrooms, kitchen and fixtures to be extremely comfortable. The owner is actually a professional interior designer, and it shows! The back yard is fenced in (important, as we had our dog with us) and beautifully landscaped and was still in full bloom in late September when we stayed there. And Polly could not have been a more gracious and accommodating host, leaving suggestions for restaurants and nice basket of food and drinks for when we arrived. We had a high bar for the house in which we were going to spend such an important week, and it far exceeded it. This is our top choice for where we would want to stay on any future trips to the island. THANK YOU POLLY!
