This newly renovated luxurious Charleston Single offers every amenity guests need to experience all the best Charleston has to offer. Our home sleeps 8 comfortably and is decorated in a crisp midcentury style fusing the charm of old Charleston architecture with modern decor. The ample Living Room offers seating for 6-8 in a spacious layout perfect for having cocktails with friends or relaxing after a long day shopping. The Dining area seats 6-8 and the fully stocked Kitchen with stainless steel appliances has place settings for 8 making this the perfect home to enjoy with friends. We offer guests the finest luxury linens and towels for a relaxing and restful stay. Our Malouf Egyptian high thread count linens, plush pillow top mattresses and plump pillows are 5 Star hotel-worthy. The gracious Master Bedroom has a king bed, walk in closet and large en suite bathroom. Bedroom #2 is upstairs and has two generous queen beds and wonderful light. Bedroom #3 is also upstairs and has a twin bed with twin trundle stored beneath it perfect for children or single guests. The two upstairs bedrooms share a full bath room located in the hall between the rooms. There is a pull out sofa in the Living Room which sleeps 2 comfortably. We have extra linens, towels and pillows to ensure you have everything you need for your guests. Our location is very desirable as we are located within 2 blocks of all of the popular attractions in town and are located in Charleston's Restaurant District neighborhood Elliottborough and Cannonborough. We are just steps from the city's award winning chefs, art galleries, bakeries, yoga studios and more. Right outside our door is a local favorite Two Boroughs Larder serving fun dishes in a cool environment. And just down the street is the new and very popular Chez Nous-the city's best kept secret restaurant. This home is fully renovated, has two off street parking spaces reserved for guests, is professionally decorated and boasts a full gourmet kitchen along with washer and dryer. Our beautiful porch capturing lovely breezes is perfect for entertaining and our full dining table graciously seats 6-8 for in home dining.

Beautiful space in prime location

We stayed for a bachelorette and the house was perfect! It was very clean, had lots of natural light, with amenities like that of a hotel, and in a prime location. We loved it! Owner was very nice and professional.

Charleston in the Fall

Pros - overall we were very happy with the accommodations...the apartment was clean and pretty much how it was described on the website. The first floor is very nice; spacious, large master suite, well-stocked kitchen. Other reviewers mention the 2nd floor with it's low slanted ceilings and very small bathroom - it worked for us however; the tiny bathroom may be challenging for 5 people which is how many the 2nd floor sleeps. There is ample parking and the location is great.

Cons - we had a challenge getting into the apartment at the agreed upon check-in time of 3PM. It was especially frustrating because we could not get ahold of Andrew. After @2 hrs. I called VRBO and they were very helpful; tried to contact Andrew, and suggested we wait 30 more minutes and they would begin looking for other accommodations. I finally heard from Andrew at 5:35. If we had known we wouldn't get in until 5:35, we could have been doing other activities in Charleston. Communication is key!

I would also point out that the house sits at a busy intersection and is close to a college. This equates to lots of traffic noise during the night time hours.

Owner's Response: Sunday is the busiest day of the week at The Compound when the meticulous housekeeping family turns over the entire property. Occasionally, it takes a little longer than normal. These ladies were notified by text at 3pm of the delay.

Beautiful place!

I stayed with six of my friends for a bachelorette party and we went out in town. We were only there one night but we all wished we could have stayed longer. Close to downtown, short drive to folly beach, beautiful place and Andrew was so accommodating.

Outstanding

We stayed at Cannonborough for a bachelorette weekend (10 girls). It was spacious and had a great living room area with plenty of chairs for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and the entire house was extremely clean.

Andrew was very accommodating and helped us with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here for the service, great house, and awesome location!

Great Last Minute BDay Get Away!

The house was excellent and Andrew was absolutely great to work with! We were making plans at the last minute (same day as arrival) and Andrew worked with us and met us there as we checked in to make sure all was in order! Talk about great service! Beds were very comfortable, linens and towels were luxurious! An excellent experience.

Lovely, safe and thoughtfully crafted!

As a group of ladies visiting Charleston for a bachelorette weekend, Andrew couldn't have crafted a better accommodation. From the aesthetic, to the cleanliness, to the abundant amenities of towels and soaps, Andrew was a wonderful host. The house is incredibly lovely and perfect for a group of friends to spend time together. It's a perfect (and safe!) location to all of the great restaurants and bars of Charleston, whether suited to a visitor or a local, and it's perfectly outfitted for that "hang-out time" between excursions. My recommendation is a 10 out of 10.
