Starting on the third level you will find a reading area and two bedrooms, one bedroom being the master suite with a master bath. When guests are visiting us on their honeymoon, this is where we suggest they stay! The master bedroom has a queen bed, wood burning fireplace, TV/VCR, large airy windows with high open beam ceiling, and a private outdoor balcony. The master bath has an over sized Jacuzzi spa with an attached shower by its side, wall to wall marble floors, with 14k gold fixtures. The other bedroom is cozy and secluded, and also has a queen bed. On the main floor, you will find the living room with a wood burning fireplace, dining area with a 1/2 bath, and a gourmet kitchen that has marble floors and tiled counter tops. The living room has a high open beam ceiling with recess lighting that opens out to the main deck. The lower floor has one bedroom, with a queen bed, one full bath and a wet bar with a TV. And for endless hours of play for the children, there is a bonus playroom with wet bar, ping-pong and foosball Soccer tables.

Our lodging is also close to popular tourist destinations like Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, Wawona Golf Course, Badger Pass Ski Area and Mariposa Grove — Home to California’s Giant Redwood Trees. So make the right choice, find your Yosemite Lodging with Yosemite’s Scenic Wonders today!

Probably the best way to experience the grandeur of Yosemite National Park is by hiking or backpacking through it’s fields, forests, and paths. Every turn displays different natural wonders; each path brings you closer to the environment. With more than 800 miles of trails to explore, Yosemite National Park offers something for everyone from the beginning stroller to the expert trekker. Hiking in Yosemite is what you make it—whether it’s a 14-mile hike up 4,800 feet on the Half Dome trail, or a relaxing jaunt along the Cook’s Meadow Loop, Yosemite hiking is a journey you’ll not soon forget.

Day hikes range from flat walks to robust climbs, with distances from the valley of under one mile (to Bridalveil Fall, easy) up to 17 miles (to Half-Dome, very strenuous). Visitors will see waterfalls, especially strong in the spring, glacial ravines, panoramic views, forests and meadows.

You can also hike above the valley floor south in Wawona, where you will see covered bridges, open pine forest, and the Giant Sequoias Grove. Shuttle bus service is available for tired trekkers to return to Wawona from the Grove. From the nortern part of the park, you can visit Soda Springs, Cathedral Lakes and follow the John Muir Trail. Longer hikes lead to Tioga Pass and the High Sierra Camp.

Learn Something: Yosemite National Park has tons of things to do, but sometimes the best things to do in Yosemite are the best things to learn. Make the most of your trip to Yosemite by taking advantage of the myriad opportunities available to enhance your knowledge of the Yosemite Valley.

Horrible Cabin!

  • 1 of 5

We stayed in this cabin on our visit to Yosemite in July. We travel quite a bit as a family and I can honestly say this was one of the worst places we have stayed in. As we walked into the place, the first thing we noticed was that the carpet was both old and very dirty. The irony was there was a sign asking for us to take off our shoes and my 10 year old asked "Mom, do I have to remove my shoes as this carpet looks filthy?" Okay, when a 10 year old notices, its really bad. The rest of the cabin was in the same very run down shape. My description would be old and filthy for nearly everything. There was a sitting area upstairs where the seats actually had large black stains.

What they do not tell you on the rental description is this cabin is literally connected to another cabin. There were people renting the other side and we could here them through the walls. Also, they were out on the deck the same time we were so there was literally no privacy inside or out of the house. Also, the cabin itself is located in the middle of windy neighborhood (there is a road in the front and back) so you can constantly hear all of the cars coming in and out of the neighborhood.

Relative to the playroom both the paddles and balls on the ping pong table were so damaged, it made it unusable. The foosball table is also in poor shape. My three sons tried it the first day and then abandoned the playroom.

We have rented probably over a hundred VRBO places and this is the first one I would say needs to be removed from being allowed as a rental. The joke was that they actually advertised it as upscale.
