The main attraction, is of course the beach, Located by the Yacht Harbor, Twin Lakes Beach has a mile of uninterrupted white sand, fire-pits and lifeguards.

Santa Cruz was voted the #1 outdoor town by Outdoor Magazine: 'Santa Cruz is the epitome of the California beach lifestyle.

There are also restaurants (the renowned Crows Nest restaurant), a coffee house, surf shop general store, and bathrooms within waling distance. Relax and play in the sand, rent a boat or kayak, boogie board, play beach volleyball and enjoy fabulous sunsets.

Visit “the hook” or Cowell’s beach for great surfing, hang out at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk amusement park, check out the shops and restaurants in Downtown Santa Cruz or nearby Capitola Village, hike the beautiful trails in the redwood forest or bike along the coastline - all of which are just minutes away.

Perfect Family Getaway

We can't say enough great things about our experience or our stay at this beach house! This was our first family vacation with my two daughters, their husbands, and my granddaughters. There was plenty of space for everyone and we had a fantastic time. Renting the property went smoothly...Brian was kind and easy to get in touch with. The house was beautiful, clean and well-maintained, had amazing views, and was in a great location. We were close to the Boardwalk, close to the shops and restaurants we wanted to go to in Capitola, and we were just steps to the beach from the property. The beach by the property also had some great restaurants so that you didn't have to leave and drive or go far to get food! We loved leaving the windows open to hear the waves crashing onto the shore and watching the sunset in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property without hesitation! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Quintessential Beach house, perfect for families & steps from the water!

Loved our experience in this lovely beach house. The current pictures on the site don't do it justice- we were delighted with the quality and comfort of the home. Extremely family friendly with an amazing kids room and toys and games throughout to enjoy. A TV in the kids room was a bonus at the end of a busy day at the beach when we all just wanted to relax.

The location is so charming, nestled just a block away from the water on a quaint street surrounded by other beachy homesteads. It's also within walking distance to an casual mexican restaurant right on the water by the harbor, which was a huge plus for our family.

Lovely and Well Kept Location

This is a really nice vacation home. The location is literally less than a block from the beach and has lovely views. The house is very well maintained and I can honestly say the pictures do not due it justice. We had friends visit us and tell us they will definitely book this place when they come to Santa Cruz. The place does have parking for two cars, but one car must be in the garage. Still it is nice to have the parking available. Truly a pleasant experience.

Beautiful home in a perfect location

Brian's home was perfect for our family. Beautiful and really well equipped. The kitchen provided all the amenities we needed to cook, the hosts were generous to allow use of their beach toys and boogie boards and there were ample beds for everyone. We would stay here anytime we visit Santa Cruz.
