Activities:

The main attraction, is of course the beach, Located by the Yacht Harbor, Twin Lakes Beach has a mile of uninterrupted white sand, fire-pits and lifeguards.

Santa Cruz was voted the #1 outdoor town by Outdoor Magazine: 'Santa Cruz is the epitome of the California beach lifestyle.

There are also restaurants (the renowned Crows Nest restaurant), a coffee house, surf shop general store, and bathrooms within waling distance. Relax and play in the sand, rent a boat or kayak, boogie board, play beach volleyball and enjoy fabulous sunsets.

Visit “the hook” or Cowell’s beach for great surfing, hang out at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk amusement park, check out the shops and restaurants in Downtown Santa Cruz or nearby Capitola Village, hike the beautiful trails in the redwood forest or bike along the coastline - all of which are just minutes away.

Great house, great location.

Loved this property. Very close to the beach and surprisingly has an amazing view of the wharf. The street is somewhat private so great for kids and quiet. The owner was easy to work with. The house is clean, well stocked and ready for the beach! Will definitely go back!

Whale watching from the front porch was AMAZING!!!!

We went for a weekend getaway and couldn't have been happier with the house. Brian was great to work with on booking the time and ensured we had everything we needed to make the time away extra special. The location is perfect as the house really is just steps away from the beach without the hassle of cars coming and going right in front of the rental. It is a very spacious home with more than enough room for the group of 5 people in our party and is beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and you can hear the waves crashing from every part of the house. Each morning, we sat outside, coffee cups in hand to start the morning relaxing just to look out at the beach. We never expected to be able to see whales in the ocean from the front porch of the house but we did - a truly AMAZING experience that we will never forget! Thank you for such a memorable and wonderful stay. We hope to return!!!

Perfect location, lovely comfortable home

Just two houses down from Twin Lakes beach, this was the perfect Santa Cruz getaway. The home is well cared for with every detail attended to, comfortable and well-decorated. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends. One of the bedrooms has a bunk bed plus a double and a twin bed... this is in addition to the other two bedrooms with queen beds.

Awesome house and location for a family vacation

The house is well equipped. Everything you need and more. Steps from the beach. We plan on returning for sure. The owner was responsive for questions. We thoroughly enjoyed Seahorse Ranch.

Amazing location and sweet home

This property was the perfect location for our family of 6. It is literally steps from the beach, a charming coffee shop, great restaurants and the harbor which offers a beautiful walking path and access to kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. We walked around the harbor and out to the lighthouse every morning and loved seeing the seals and otters. We were able to do some fantastic whale watching right on the beach. The house is charming and clean. Our group of 2 adults and 4 teenagers was very comfortable. We were happy to find boogie boards, beach chairs, etc in the garage for our use and a lovely back deck/fire pit for gathering in the evening. We would definitely book again.
