About John Reardon
I grew up in Northampton Massachusetts, a town with countless beautiful old homes and lots of woods. I spent countless days in my youth building tree forts never knowing that those 2 dynamics would intersect at this point. Upon arriving in San Diego with an interest in building and purchasing real estate, I became immediately interested in the largely neglected Victorian buildings in this area of town. This property became a labor of love for me many years ago and I hope that legacy will be carried forward by my 3 sons. My wife if Japanese, so our family often divides our time between 2 very different worlds, both with much to offer.
John Reardon purchased this Condo in 1991

I would absolutely rent again.
Perfect Location! Clean & comfortable!
Very clean & comfortable one bedroom with full bath and kitchen. Rooms were spotless & owner attentive to our needs. Particularly enjoyed private outdoor patio. Great location for walking to downtown. Shopping & restaurants nearby. We plan to return for most of July!
Well represented, a welcome place to call home while visiting San Diego.
Amazing hospitality, our host made contact to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay.
The unit was just perfect for two. Close to downtown and a short drive to many points of interest.
Clean, comfortable 1BR close to downtown
Owner's description is accurate. My wife & I stayed 4 nights and were very pleased with our stay. John was very responsive and accommodating, directions were good. I liked the electronic lock on the door - no key to carry. As others mentioned, there are vagrancy issues in the neighborhood but we had no problems. Parking was never an issue, farthest we parked was around the corner on a side street. Easy assess to freeways, downtown, Gaslamp, Balboa Park and Coronado.
Unit was very clean; we loved the wood floors. The bed was comfortable and I had a few good naps on the sofa.
I would definitely recommend this for couples; with only a small table for two it might be cramped for four persons.
Due to my own screw-up, I wasn't able to stay here after all, but John bent over backwards to help me make it happen. I had to take a moment to comment on John's kindness and generosity in going above and beyond the call of duty in taking care of a potential client. Anyone with that level of concern and flexibility has to be a guy you can rely on. I'm going to make a point to book early with him and stay at his place if and when I return to San Diego next time. Never met a stranger online in any type of program like this that treats you like a good friend or family member from the start. Good heart.
