About John Reardon

I grew up in Northampton Massachusetts, a town with countless beautiful old homes and lots of woods. I spent countless days in my youth building tree forts never knowing that those 2 dynamics would intersect at this point. Upon arriving in San Diego with an interest in building and purchasing real estate, I became immediately interested in the largely neglected Victorian buildings in this area of town. This property became a labor of love for me many years ago and I hope that legacy will be carried forward by my 3 sons. My wife if Japanese, so our family often divides our time between 2 very different worlds, both with much to offer.

John Reardon purchased this condo in 1991

Why John Reardon chose San Diego

It is our hope that our guests will appreciate the attention to detail and uniqueness of design that has been incorporated into every aspect of this property.

What makes this condo unique

This property is strategically located close to most of San Diego's most popular destinations. It's central location and proximity to a newly revitalized downtown, airport, beaches and parks affords our guests the best possible experience while visiting San Diego.

GREAT Owner

  • 5 of 5

Due to my own screw-up, I wasn't able to stay here after all, but John bent over backwards to help me make it happen. I had to take a moment to comment on John's kindness and generosity in going above and beyond the call of duty in taking care of a potential client. Anyone with that level of concern and flexibility has to be a guy you can rely on. I'm going to make a point to book early with him and stay at his place if and when I return to San Diego next time. Never met a stranger online in any type of program like this that treats you like a good friend or family member from the start. Good heart.

Golden Hill

  • 4 of 5

We found the location of this rental to be very convenient. Inside, it was spotless and nicely decorated. We appreciated having shampoo, conditioner, soaps, coffee and water provided, as well as enough towels to last for the week. While it was a bit of a trek for groceries or coffee, once we had our provisions, the kitchen area had all we needed to put together a hot breakfast. Our complaints were few, though I agree with an earlier reviewer that the pillows could profit from replacement. They are too thin for anybody with neck issues. There was a loose hinge on a door in the kitchen, which was reported to management. All in all, we'd definitely recommend this home for others and would be happy to stay there again at some point in the future.

Immaculate, bright and light, lovely decore, central location, spacious

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I spent 4 nights in this comfortable and roomy one bedroom apartment. The directions and communications were excellent, complete and easy to follow. The decore was beautiful. We loved having a separate outside entrance with morning glories along the fence and the large windows which we opened to enjoy the consistent light cool breezes. We appreciated the extra beach towels provided that we used at the Coronado Hotel beach. The bed was very comfortable with quality bedding. Our daughter and her boyfriend spent one night on the pull out which was very convenient. Very thoughtfully stocked. San Deigo had many homeless and a few wandered up near by but the property was fenced off and none came on the property. They seemed harmless, the unit had secure locks and the location was well worth that slight discomfort.

San Diego Apartment Studio

  • 5 of 5

The place was clean, had a nice facility, tv to watch the Olympics, a place to do our laundry and they even had quarters for us to do the laundry. It was quiet and close to the many places we wanted to visit while in San Diego. The owners were very helpful in their communication with us ensuring we were taken care of and we had all we needed. They even offered help or suggestions if we needed it. I would highly recommend this place to others. Even though you have to park on the street there is plenty of parking across the street if you can't find a place in front of the house.
