Our awesome beach house is furnished with a modern, artsy and comfy flair. All kitchenware, linens, bath towels, beach towels, washer/dryer, wi-fi, cable, television, and dvd player provided.

The kitchen features top of the line stainless steel stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. You will enjoy cooking, dining and visiting with family and friends in the spacious open floor plan. The master bedroom will be a retreat featuring a comfy queen bed tastefully décorated with amenities that will leave you rested and refreshed. The second bedroom has two twins and the third bedroom will have a full sized bed big enough for a cozy night's rest for two. The bathroom is finished in beautiful marble and features a bathtub and shower. Outside, you’ll find a fully enclosed yard with lots of room for outdoor BBQ meals and space for family enjoyment. The backyard will be equipped with bbq grill, table and chairs and lounge chairs for sunning in a private setting.

Our goal is that you have a great Santa Cruz vacation. A short five-minute walk to Twin Lakes Beach, the Yacht Harbor and popular Crow’s Nest Restaurant, and a 5 minute drive to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. This location is excellent for family outings; jogging, swimming, body surfing, boogie boarding, volleyball, evening bonfires, and viewing incredible sunsets.

Stroll to the yacht harbor for sailing, kayaking, or stand-up paddling. Walk to the Crow’s Nest for dinner and live music, or take in a concert on the sand in front of the boardwalk. There is a convenience store and deli two doors down. Santa Cruz is also a favorite for world-class surfing, mountain biking, and hiking.

There will be a list of fun things to do and recommendations for playing, dining, site seeing and more. We are available prior to your arrival to assist in any way. There is also a local market with deli, dvd rentals and groceries just steps away. Sweet spot to stay

A very well-planned vacation rental within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Easy to do your own meals in the kitchen, dining area, and backyard. Small convenience store nearby. Reasonably quiet street. Very glad we found it!

Almost perfect place to stay in Santa Cruz

We loved everything about the house except the mattresses. They really need to be replaced. Besides that I would stay here every time I go to SC. Put the code for the lock box in the book for people like me who can't find the original email when they leave ;-)

A great location. Very clean. Great!

A great place. Although 'cozy' there was enough space for us, a family of 5, with 16-18 year old children. Great wifi and tv. A 5 minute walk down to the Java Junction coffee shop for a morning coffee while walking along the beach. Sunny was very responsive, answering our emails and questions quickly. She was great.

We made good use of the boogie boards and beach chairs, and even tried out the skim board (without much success!).

The Weber BBQ in the backyard was used one night for dinner.

We had a great week and would definitely stay here again.

Cute Comfortable House

Comfortable house. Very cute. Nice to have a yard in the back. Street noise is a little much during the day. I had forgotten how busy 7th street can get. Street is very quiet at night though! Hard to leave the windows and doors open which is to bad. Also a little odd to have someone living on the property which I think was previously the garage

Very close to the beach. Nice to have a little store two doors down for anything you may have forgotten. With a family the washer and dryer is helpful. Easy walk to coffee. Easy walk to the Crow's Nest

Opening the slider and back windows offer a great sea breeze and fans are located in every room. The Studio Unit is definitely not an oddity for Santa Cruz! Garage conversions have been approved and encouraged by the City of Santa Cruz since the 1980’s as an unconventional approach to the City’s housing shortage. The driveway and yard (front/back) are for the sole use of our vacationing guests. Sunny

Beautiful & Cozy!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very clean and decorated so nicely. The walk to the beach is perfect and great sand/waves for little ones. The street is busy so I also loved the fact that the front yard was fenced in as well as an adorably quaint backyard that is super private. We can't wait to come back again!

1. Noise Ordinance: Santa Cruz has a noise ordinance that states that between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am, no persons shall make, cause, suffer, or permit to be made any offensive noise, which is made within 100 feet of any building or place regularly used for sleeping purposes. Violations of this Ordinance may lead to expulsion from the Property and Guest will forfeit all fees paid.
2. Occupancy Ordinance: Per county code, maximum overnight occupancy of this vacation rental shall not exceed 8 persons (2 per bedroom + 2 additional not counting children under 12). Further, the maximum occupancy for temporary gatherings for celebrations between 8:00am and 10:00pm shall not exceed 16 people. Violations of either of these Ordinances may lead to expulsion from the Property and Guest will forfeit all fees paid.
3. Transient Guests: People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
4. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Please do not take house towels outside.
5. Weather: No refunds will be given for storms or bad weather.
6. Liability: The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Property or while using any of its facilities or provided amenities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of Guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that Guest and guests of Guest are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the Property and provided amenities or others whom they invite to use the Property. Homeowner does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to Guests or any other persons or their personal property.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
