This beautiful home is just steps from 26th Ave. Beach. The open layout and high ceilings will allow you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. There are 3 bedrooms in total. One master bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms on the lower level. There are also 2 full baths, one in the master bedroom and one downstairs. An additional half bath is on the upper floor. The top story loft also has a futon to sleep two more. With an amazing view it is a great place to soak up the sun and relax.

This area of Santa Cruz is a very quiet, mostly residential area. You are less than a block away from one of the nicest beaches and best surfing in Santa Cruz. Being away from the higher traffic areas like downtown gives you the real feeling of being part of this amazing community. Enjoy the laid back vibe of this neighborhood and soak in all that the surf city has to offer. The house is about 3 miles from downtown Santa Cruz and the Boardwalk. To the other direction is downtown Capitola, where there is also plenty of shopping and dining. The closest shopping and dining district is less than 2 miles away on 41st Ave. in Capitola.

About the owner: I am an artist and after-school counselor living in San Francisco. My husband and I are starting to rent out this property. After growing up in Santa Cruz and San Jose I have now made SF my home. I have so many wonderful memories of Santa Cruz....the boardwalk, surfing, hanging out on the beach. To this day we still make frequent visits to Santa Cruz.
Why the Owner Chose Opal Cliffs, CA, USA:
This house has been in my family since 1993, with the grandparents buying it as a vacation home. I spent a good part of my childhood at this house, but we eventually moved to San Jose. The house is not a permanent residence although we do stay there a couple times a year. Being this close to the beach is absolutely amazing. Taking morning or evening walks along the beach is a magical experience. The house is truly unique, being built in the 1970's and having cedar paneling throughout the house. It is a great house for families, friends or just a romantic couple's getaway. We try to keep with the original architects design when updating the house and love the simple, clean design of the mid-century architecture. The decks are amazing to hang out on to bbq and watch the sunset and the garden is an oasis.

The high ceilings, steep roofline, cedar paneling, open floor plan and midcentury design make this house so open and inviting. It just begs for you to relax and decompress. You can hear the ocean as you fall asleep! Just steps from the beach, you'll want to stay forever after you come back from the beach and use the outdoor shower, have a drink next to the outdoor fire pit on one of the two decks, cook dinner in the remodeled kitchen and cozy up next to the fireplace. Extensive movie and music collection, flat screen Tv in all three bedrooms. There are games a bike and even a long board to borrow. You can see the ocean and lights from the boardwalk from the front deck and loft area! This house has a great vibe and is tons of fun. the activetes you can do from this location are endless
