vintage cottage right on the water
Stayed October 5-9. Cottage has a cozy vintage vibe. Looks right out on the water, nice fireplace . Cottage is as represented in the pictures. Up with our family of 5 and we found the location to be great. Right across the street from Market 22 a great place to eat, have a drink, grab food to go, and buy little necessities. Location was great for us. You can bike to the sleeping bear heritage trail head on Bohemian road easily. Also close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. We enjoyed our trip up north
Love the remodel
Second year we have used this for a girls weekend up north. Only complaint is that weekend not long enough
Perfect beach house
Just spent a girls weekend there. House was perfect for the 7 of us. Enough seating room in living room and at kitchen table. Loved the fire pit and all the chairs. Bed were all comfy!! Short drive to Traverse City.
Great get away at the lake
We had a fantastic time at the lake house. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing in the lake, swimming, and a campfire each night. All we needed in terms of kitchen amenities were provided. Very relaxing and fun! The only small negative I could suggest was that M-22 can be quite noisy in the mornings if the windows are open. Overall a great stay.
Great location and amenities, a wonderful Lake House.
We stayed for a week in mid-July with two families. The house easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 children. The house had a large kitchen and main area that we spent most of our indoor time in. The main area and the bedrooms all had flat screen TVs. The grill area and deck/dock is where we spent our outdoor time. The kids loved the sand area and spent hours playing in it. The dock was great and we also enjoyed paddling around the lake with the provided kayaks and life jackets. We enjoyed several nights around the fire pit and there was plenty of wood provided for our fires. The large windows looked out on a wonderful view of the lake and we saw some spectacular sunsets. The house is close to Glen Arbor, Leland, and Suttons Bay, which we visited multiple times. Traverse City is only a short drive away. There are plenty of hiking areas and bike trails in the area too. I would recommend the restaurant/store across the street, Market 22, for an easy dinner option. We were very pleased with the house. The only negatives I can think was there were no closets in the smaller bedrooms and space was limited to hang and store clothes, but we got by just fine. The owners were very helpful with local recommendations and information. We had such and enjoyable vacation and highly recommend the Lake House.
Beautiful water front cottage on Little Traverse Lake!
My family and I had a great time staying here. Little Traverse Lake is gorgeous. Both nights we sat around a fire and watched some amazing sunsets. The house and amenities are really nice and there is a lot of cool stuff in the house. Nice flat screen TVs and the couches and chairs were comfy. The grill worked great and the cover over it was a nice touch. We would recommend this place to anyone! The owners were great to work with too.
