Great get away at the lake

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time at the lake house. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing in the lake, swimming, and a campfire each night. All we needed in terms of kitchen amenities were provided. Very relaxing and fun! The only small negative I could suggest was that M-22 can be quite noisy in the mornings if the windows are open. Overall a great stay.

Great location and amenities, a wonderful Lake House.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in mid-July with two families. The house easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 children. The house had a large kitchen and main area that we spent most of our indoor time in. The main area and the bedrooms all had flat screen TVs. The grill area and deck/dock is where we spent our outdoor time. The kids loved the sand area and spent hours playing in it. The dock was great and we also enjoyed paddling around the lake with the provided kayaks and life jackets. We enjoyed several nights around the fire pit and there was plenty of wood provided for our fires. The large windows looked out on a wonderful view of the lake and we saw some spectacular sunsets. The house is close to Glen Arbor, Leland, and Suttons Bay, which we visited multiple times. Traverse City is only a short drive away. There are plenty of hiking areas and bike trails in the area too. I would recommend the restaurant/store across the street, Market 22, for an easy dinner option. We were very pleased with the house. The only negatives I can think was there were no closets in the smaller bedrooms and space was limited to hang and store clothes, but we got by just fine. The owners were very helpful with local recommendations and information. We had such and enjoyable vacation and highly recommend the Lake House.

Beautiful water front cottage on Little Traverse Lake!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great time staying here. Little Traverse Lake is gorgeous. Both nights we sat around a fire and watched some amazing sunsets. The house and amenities are really nice and there is a lot of cool stuff in the house. Nice flat screen TVs and the couches and chairs were comfy. The grill worked great and the cover over it was a nice touch. We would recommend this place to anyone! The owners were great to work with too.

Great place, great location.

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at the Lake House twice....once during summer, and again in fall. It is wonderful. We had the whole family during our summer week (6 adults, 2 children) and just 2 couples for our fall weekend. Either way, it worked perfectly for the two groups. It is halfway between Leland and Glen Arbor (less than 10 minutes to each) and all the fun dining and shopping in these quaint towns. The Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City are very close by as well. There is no shortage of great things to do and see. You'll find yourself wanting more.

We decided to do a girls weekend her and had a great time!! The view is incredible! It had plenty of room for all of us! I love the convince of the market 22 across the street. We drove to Traverse on Saturday which was only a half hour away and it was a beautiful drive! We had dinner in Glen Arbor, went to the distillary, did some wine tasting etc.. We made a fire in the wood fireplace which was a great end to a very fun day!!

We were lucky enough to stay in this fantastic cabin for our annual Girls Only shopping trip to Traverse City and it was positively wonderful! The view of the lake every morning and the crackling fireplace every night is enough to keep you coming back! So relaxing and peaceful no matter what season of the year. I will continue to go back whenever I can!!! It's a place for people of all ages. I highly recommend this great cabin!!
