Leucadia Beach Hideout

The Leucadia Beach Hideout is sadly no longer a short term rental. The hideout is available for 28 days or longer. Give us a call for a good deal!
A long term rental is available to one person. You will need to fill out a rental application, credit and background check required, must be employed, no pets or smoking in the hideout or on property.
A private fully furnished upstairs studio apartment attached to private home with its own pathway and private entrance. The hideout sits on top of a garage, so is private. The most comfortable bed you will ever sleep on! A pillow-top Sterns and Foster Cal-King mattress, soft, comfy linens and comforter, full bathroom with shower, toiletries and hair dryer, toiletries and kitchen. Balcony with umbrella table and chairs. Perfect get-a-way for one person looking for a place close to the beaches (on east side of Highway 101, one the west side of the 5 freeway).

Local things to do: Relax on the beach, surfing, boogie boarding, walking the local beaches, bicycling on Famous Hwy 101, golfing at world renowned courses, hiking the beach reserves. Local delicious food restaurants, coffee houses, winery and pubs. Lots of shopping in funky Leucadia and Old Encinitas.
The Leucadia Beach Hideout has a large smart TV, faux fireplace, Wi-Fi, large dresser, large desk, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, stove and bathroom with shower.
Your own private outdoor washer and dryer. Wifi and utilities included
Sorry, no pets , no smoking in the hideout or on premises. A perfect, spacious, safe and comfy studio for one person in Leucadia!

The Leucadia Beach Hideout was fantastic! My husband and I were in town for our son's wedding and it was the perfect home base for us. Debbie and Travis have created a wonderful "nest". It is well appointed with fluffy towels, comfortable bed and bedding, Keurig coffee maker, comfy couch. but it's the little things that really stood out - two sturdy luggage racks, quality hand soap and lotion, water and snacks, excellent directions for TV, AC, etc. And it was absolutely spotless. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Leucadia Beach Hideout! The studio was very well equipped and very clean. The bed was super comfortable! The studio was really spacious and it was so convenient to have reserved street parking. Debbie and Travis were excellent hosts and very responsive. We would highly recommend Leucadia Beach Hideout! We really enjoyed staying here in Leucadia. The space was open and quiet, even next to the tracks and construction on the 101. Everything in the space was well thought out. Hummingbirds all around the property. Would stay again!

What a GEM!! Clean, quiet, private and in a great location! Close to restaurants. Beautifully set up space with a Cal King bed, kitchen and living room area and even a small balcony with a BBQ. The beach is not within walking distance as far as we could tell but the Encinitas area and beaches are just a short drive. The Hideout owners were very nice and gave us very detailed instructions, prior to arrival, on how to access the unit. Definitely would stay here again when visiting the area!!

We love this spacious studio and have stayed multiple times. It has everything we need (inc a good kitchen), is close to many casual restaurants, near to many great beaches and the hosts are very organized and helpful. It is a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Why they chose this property

Our goal in life was to live close to the beach! Leucadia is truly a perfect place for everything we like to do. Leucadia is a place people want to come to relax at the beach, surf, swim, shop, eat at great restaurants, winery and breweries. Beautiful sunsets close by and the weather is usually so nice!! Golf courses, hiking, yoga, cycling, working, you name it! The hideout is a short drive to so many fun places.

What makes this property unique

The Leucadia Beach Hideout is a studio attached to a home, located in a nice neighborhood. Its a self contained upstairs studio apartment with balcony with its own private entrance. The hideout is always squeaky clean, self contained, private, safe. A perfect place for a couple or single person!
