The most notable feature of this stunning house is the beachfront balcony access for each of the four bedrooms: The top two floors of this spacious home have oceanfront decks extending the length of the house, and huge picture windows create a light filled space with amazing ocean views from every room.
Ideal for larger groups or those wanting personal space, this upscale home has been beautifully remodeled and newly refurnished. The beds sleep up to nine comfortably, and with the three fold out couches, two floor cushions, and playpen you can fit fifteen people. No parties or events allowed.
This south shore beach house is in an ideal setting near Waikiki Beach, Kahala, and Diamond Head, where world class restaurants and shopping abound. The original, and deservedly famous, Roy's restaurant is just down the street. The home is 5 minutes from the exceptional snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and close-by are two fabulous golf courses as well as extraordinary trails for both beginning and advanced hikers. It is located directly oceanfront on Maunaloa Bay, the perfect spot to try stand up paddling or kayaking, and directly in front of the surf break "secrets".
The house is located directly on Kalanianaole Highway, which allows for easy access to the surrounding area. It is a large, three story home right on the beach. The grassy yard spills down to the private beach, which is accessible only by the few upscale homes located alongside it. There is a newly painted back patio with a jacuzzi and outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. Just a few steps lead you to the secluded beach. We provide two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards, four body boards, and other floats for your enjoyment. There is also a BBQ on the top lanai (balcony) and outdoor patio furniture so you can relax and eat outside. Inside you can enjoy beautiful ocean views form each room, along with sliding doors to the lanai. The entire house is air conditioned for your comfort, free Wifi is available, and there are TVs in every bedroom.
Guests have access to the entire first two floors (a spacious 2,000 square feet) and outside of the house. The bottom third level is separate and closed off for the owner's private use when they are in town. They have agreed it is in the best interest of our guests not to stay at the house when it is booked, so you never have to worry about anyone else sharing the property.
Our Property Manager, Gavin, will meet you at the beach house to welcome you upon your arrival and get you acquainted with the house. The garage will fit two cars and you can park two more small vehicles in the driveway. There is a beach park just before the house with additional parking, but please read the posted signs for park access hours and tow away zones. Hopefully it is a small inconvenience compared to the desirable location and beachfront property. Once inside the house or in the back yard you will instantly be on vacation. It is quite lovely.
Other transportation options are taxi, Uber, airport shuttles, or private drivers. "The Bus" for the City and County of Honolulu is one of the nations best bus systems and has a reliable schedule with many bus stops along Kalanianaole Hwy. You can visit www.thebus.org for more information and scheduled routes. Many locals and visitors use the bus to get around the island, but it does take quite a bit longer than driving.
