About Nancy Brown

Our family has vacationed in Lake Tahoe for decades and we are excited to have a chance to share the grand beauty of Lake Tahoe and all it has to offer; Hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, bowling, skimming rocks, swimming, paddle boarding, building sand castles, boating, fishing for crawdads, and biking around the Lake.

Nancy Brown purchased this house in 2014

Why Nancy Brown chose Lake Tahoe West Shore CA

We have rented in the West Shore for years and find its quieter more serene nature just perfect for our family. Since it is super close to all the excitement Tahoe has to offer, we feel we get the best of both worlds.

Peaceful, comfortable, roomy home--excellent location!

  • 5 of 5

Nancy made my first VRBO experience wonderful, starting with her prompt communication and helpfulness! The home was very clean, comfortable, spacious living room/dining area, and lots of natural lighting. We (5 adults) cooked our meals and were delighted that the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, appliances, dishes, cookware. Loved grilling! Appreciated wifi. Beautiful deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. Next visit want to play bocce ball and horse shoes in the back yard! Quiet friendly community. And only minutes away from bike trails, marina, the lake, PDQ market, Homewood, and Sugar Pine park. We look forward to coming back to this haven for lodging, and exploring more of Tahoma/Tahoe!

Nancy was very available with answers to any questions or concerns we had. Nice short walk to the lake, really close to Sugar Point State Park hiking and swimming. We enjoyed ourselves and will return!

Great property, great house, perfect family experience.

  • 5 of 5

We had another house reserved for our trip, but a tree fell through that roof so we were left in a bind. Wow did we get lucky! This house was perfect in every way for our stay. Great neighborhood, very quiet at night, yet private enough that playing bocce ball in the evening felt like we're alone in the woods. The house itself is very clean and well kept, each bedroom is well furnished. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook any meal and plenty of dishware for friends to come by. The WiFi and cable make those moments of connection easy if you need to be plugged in. Thanks for the great week in a great house, we will book here first next time!

Good location with great deck for relaxing.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week. The owners are very attentive and available. Kitchen is very complete. Even though the houses are fairly close together, the deck is completely secluded and area very quiet. Only a short walk to beach. Water sports rentals are close by. Sugar pine state park a few minutes away with great mountain biking. We also cycled to Tahoe city some mornings for a pastry and coffee(about 9 miles). There are bike paths on the West Shore. Hiking is close by and many nice beaches. We really enjoyed barbequing on deck and dinners outdoors. My parents enjoyed playing Bocce in the backyard. House is nicely furnished. Only minor complaint is the bathroom downstairs is very small if multiple people are sharing and queen bed very soft and sinks in when 2 people are sleeping on it. Overall we recommend , had a great week and would go back!

The Brown's home away is so peaceful, comfy and in such a wonderful location! We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the local beach, gelato shop and PDQ for restocking and DVD rental!

Easy access to hike at Sugar Pine Park or hike/kayak at Emerald Bay!!

thank you for this wonderful environment!
