About Nancy Brown

Our family has vacationed in Lake Tahoe for decades and we are excited to have a chance to share the grand beauty of Lake Tahoe and all it has to offer; Hiking, mini golf, bowling, skimming rocks, swimming, building sand castles, boating, fishing for crawdads, skiing or snowboarding, and biking around the Lake.

Nancy Brown purchased this house in 2014

Why Nancy Brown chose Lake Tahoe West Shore CA

We have rented in the West Shore for years and find its quieter more serene nature just perfect for our family. Since it is super close to all the excitement Tahoe has to offer, we feel we get the best of both worlds.

Excellent vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

2 families of four fit comfortably and had a great visit to the snow. Nice little neighborhood, away from the crowds, but close to the lake and Sugar Pine Point State Park. Lovely, clean, and comfortable house.

Perfect Tahoe Winter Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We (3 adults and 2 children) stayed for 5 nights during the New Year holiday and had a wonderful time. The home is very spacious with all the creature comforts. We especially loved the interior decorating with lots of nice touches throughout the house. The kids were able to play in the snow right around the house and more great sledding was not far in Tahoe City. Skiing at Homewood is just around the corner. Tahoma is a nice and quiet community. It was great to feel so "away from it all" in such a comfortable home but still not far from all the West Shore activities. The host was perfect with good communication all throughout - even responding to a mix up with the cleaning schedule immediately, professionally and with great courtesy. It would be a nice place to stay throughout the year as the West Shore beaches and hiking are very nearby. We would definitely return.

Nice, modern cabin in cozy Tahoe setting

  • 5 of 5

We came up to the Brown's Tahoe Cabin for the Xmas 2016. Spent several wonderful days with the family right as snow rolled in for the holiday. Wonderful cozy cabin with ample livingroom/dining space to eat, play board games, watch movies, share a bottle of wine and play in the snow! Thanks!

Outstanding comfort and treetop serenity

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed staying in your lovely, well-appointed Tahoma home. The quiet street and the deep forest of the back yard and lots of good window light add to the peace and solitude of this place. It feels private and remote, yet is within close driving distance of some of our favorite dining spots (the Sunnyside and the Fire Sign Cafe).

We have friends who used to own a house just down the street, so 6th Avenue is familiar to us--not far from Sugar Pine Point State Park and the Ehrman mansion beach, perhaps our favorite walking spot on the west shore.

To stay among the treetops in such a comfortable, home-y home felt like a real homecoming. We are most grateful for this place of respite.

Great get away

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this lovely cabin. Everything was super clean and beautiful when we arrived, even better than the photos. The Browns have thought of and provided everything you might need. Loved Little Tahoma and all the hikes we took - it's a great location for going north or south. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
