About the host
Hosted by Kami Gilmour
We've been Coloradoans for 35 years, living part-time in Grand Lake for 15 years. We started hosting our original vacation home (Twin Pines Lodge) in 2012 to fill in the gaps of time that our family wasn't able to use it, and fell in love with hospitality and hosting guests. We added RiverSong Lodge to our properties in 2015, and spent a year remodeling and designing every aspect of the home and exterior acreage to create the ultimate private resort for large groups, family reunions, retreats and small weddings. Since 2018, owner Kami Gilmour left her career in corporate event management to focus full-time on hosting our 2 Grand Lake properties. Connecting with our guests and understanding each group's needs is my hands-on, personal service approach. We believe every guest should feel special, welcomed and appreciated, and going above and beyond is what we do!
Why they chose this property
RiverSong Reunion Lodge is located in a high-end riverfront neighborhood with large lots and beautiful mountain homes. We were drawn to the lush pine trees and mountain views to the north and south, as well as the location directly on the Colorado River. On the opposite side of the river is open space that leads straight to the Arapahoe National Forest, which lends to the privacy and serene mountain setting with abundant wildlife.
What makes this property unique
Details, Details. Details. This is more than just a house, it's your own private resort. It's extremely rare to find a vacation home directly on the Colorado River, and we own a 200ft stretch with huge river beach, wading area, and fishing holes! We designed every detail of RiverSong Reunion Lodge with large family/group gatherings in mind, and created a truly magical experience. From the abundance of games, toys, extra blankets, beach chairs, 2 stocked kitchens and so much more...you could vacation here for a week and never leave the property!
