Beautiful 2nd floor condo in well-maintained beachfront building. It was originally designed as a 2 bedroom, and has 2 full baths and 2 large closets. A balcony was later added to provide an unobstructed view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. Second bedroom is best used for overnight guests who can sleep on the comfortable sofa bed, as it is set up as a sitting room with a television. Enjoy the spectacular Venice Island sunsets without getting in your car--and even without leaving the condo most months of the year because the sunsets are visible from the balcony from about September through May! New owner has updated the kitchen and the furnishings after acquiring the property from the longtime owners recently. The condo has one designated parking space with plenty of guest parking. The beach is steps away and the building has a heated pool and courtyard appointed with new furniture as of November 2015. The San Ramon is a small, quiet and secluded location set in private grounds with friendly residents/owners. Venice Beach is world-renowned for its abundant shark teeth. Owner is local and a longtime Florida resident. She owns another condo in this building and is on the Board of Directors for the property. The master is a queen bed with access to a newer shower. Second bathroom also has newer shower. High speed internet and HDTV equipped with cable. Beautiful downtown Venice is 3 minutes away by car and 10 minutes by bicycle. Bike rentals are available locally, or bring your own--there are abundant bike trails in the area. Venice has lovely shops and dining, and is a quiet resort town. You will enjoy dining out at the many seafood and Italian restaurants in the area. The town is convenient to international airports: Sarasota airport is about 30 minutes north, and Ft. Myers airport is about 45 minutes south. There is a public golf course down the street, as well as a fishing pier. Boat rentals are near by. Renters in the 'high season' (January-April) can enjoy a multi-month rental discount for 3 or more months, to be negotiated directly with the owner.

About John Earhart
Julie is from Northern Indiana, but has lived in South Florida since 1968. She Hates the cold, and if it gets below 65 degrees, you will see her in a parka. Julie raised her kids in Miami with her husband of 50 years (who passed away in 2010). They 'retired to the West Coast' of Florida in the late 80's and she has called the area her home since then.
John Earhart purchased this Condo in 2015
Why John Earhart chose Golden Beach
Julie fell in love with this property because of its unobstructed views of the Gulf and beach, the landscaped courtyard pool and the fact that, after owning another property in the building, she loves the people who own and rent here. Unlike many other resort towns, Venice also has a full-year resident population that keeps things active throughout the year.

First time in Venice Island Florida
The condo was in fine condition for a building as old as it is. the one disappointment was having to use shared, coin operated laundry equipment.
This was our first time to Venice. It is a charming community, with wonderful restaurants. The condo we stayed in for a month was nothing short of perfect. It was spotless, spacious, and the evening sun sets were amazing to watch just off the balcony The condo was so well appointed we needed nothing.Julie, the owner, stopped by to check and make sure we had everything we needed. She was very giving about all the different restaurant, and sights to see, both in Venice and nearby places as well.I can highly recommend this condo.A+
Venice is an unspoiled "old Florida" island town with a quaint dining and shopping area. The year round residents ensure that off season visitors will enjoy the same amenities as those who visit in the busy "high season." The sunsets in this area are incomparable. The beach has recently been restored, making it possible for you to walk the entire length of the island (about 4 miles). Most of the beaches are restricted access, which means that if you stay on a beachfront property, you will be able to spread out and experience an almost private beach.
