Tuck Me INN is a cozy, romantic setting that lets you throw off the restraints of daily schedules and pressures to relax in the seclusion of the mountains. With the crackling wood and glow and warmth of the fireplace, you are sure to want some fresh popcorn as you cuddle on the leather couch and enjoy a movie on one of the two flatscreen TVs.
Tuck Me INN is what you'll want him to do when you descend the spiral staircase to the Master Suite, with king bed and in-room jacuzzi. And if the children happen to be with you, you can let them ascend to the Youth Loft which sleeps two
(children old enough for you to comfortably allow to climb a ladder).
A fully equipped kitchen compliments the chalet. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck. Later in the evening, the charcoal grill will let you fill Chalet Village with the aroma of a juicy steak or an old-fashion hamburger. Either way, relax in the rocking chairs and enjoy a picnic surrounded by the freshness of the woods.
Tuck Me INN is the ideal location for your vacation...centrally located just 8/10 of a mile up the mountain from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. You're only minutes to ALL the major attractions, outlet and specialty stores and restaurants. You may park your car at the foot of the mountain by the Welcome Center and ride the Trolley into either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Memories await you as you fill your days with adventure, exciting attractions, entertainment and shopping.
After a day on the hiking trails, the thrills of Dollywood, a visit to the Island or the exhausting shopping in the outlet stores, you'll be ready to relax in the double swing on the lower Master Suite deck. Then, before turning in for the night, soak in the private Hot Tub. Step out of the Hot Tub and you'll be eight steps to a night of comfortable, deep sleep where you can dream of your adventure in the Great Smoky Mountains for the next day!
Linda and I have lived in Tennessee for almost 40 years and have enjoyed many trips to the mountains. In 2002, we decided to purchase a mountain retreat for our family to enjoy. The area offers something of interest for everyone and our cozy chalet is ideally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We want to share it with you and would be honored if you would enjoy the warmth and comfort that we have experienced.
Larry L. Gilmore purchased this chalet in 2002
A friend had purchased Tuck Me INN as a new chalet in 2000. He wanted to expand his inventory with multi-bedroom units and decided to sell this one. We had stayed in the chalet, loved it, and it met our needs for a home away from home. It was central to all of the attractions and a wonderful place from which to venture on the mountain roads on our Harley.
Whether sitting on the upper deck with a cup of coffee and a book or soaking in the Hot Tub on the lower deck, the peaceful serenity of the mountains is a place to which everyone needs to be able to retreat. Let the snow fall, throw another log on the fire and feel the warmth and smell the burning wood. It's not really heaven yet, but it sure is close!
Great location ! Very cozy cabin!
We loved this cabin. The location is great and the cabin itself was amazing. This will be my wife and I cabin for all of our mountain trips. Owners are by far the best I’ve ever dealt with on VRBO. Can’t wait to go back!
Nice accommodations for a quick weekend getaway. Close to everything, but still quiet.
OMG, we had such a nice trip to Gatlinburg and this cabin was in the perfect location. Located just up the hill from the welcome center, we were able to take the trolley into both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We look forward to rreturning some day.. Also the house was very clean and had everything we needed for preparing meals. The views from the windows and balconies were breathtaking.
Just as described, and better than imagined!
We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The location was great! Super easy access to the trolley and Gatlinburg Welcome Center. Larry was very quick in responding to our reservation request and was very helpful with everything. The only thing I would watch out for is the steep circular steps leading down to the master bedroom if this is an issue for older groups but it was absolutely not an issue for us. Thank you for everything Larry!
You have everything except the beach in this region of adventure! Unique Smoky Mountain Family fun attractions along the parkway include The Dixie Stampede, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, NASCAR SpeedPark, go-cart race tracks, souvenir shops, indoor skydiving, Country, Gospel and Comedy Dinner Theaters, Shopping Malls and much more.
