This vintage mountain home is charming and cozy. Overlooking the Eastern Continental Divide, the views are astounding. It is a perfect place for a get-away from city life, yet it is close enough to Cashiers for city conveniences. For those who love the outdoors, it is very close to Panthertown Valley hiking area and Sapphire Valley golf and ski resort. For those who prefer indoor activity, there are plenty of shops to peruse in nearby Cashiers and well as in the neighboring town of Highlands. At an elevation of 4300 feet, you will be sure to enjoy open windows and cool, fresh mountain breezes throughout the summer season. It is a great place for both recreation and relaxation!

Perfect mountain getaway
This was our third time staying in this house, we love it every time!
We are so glad you enjoyed your visit to the mountains. Please come again!
Wonderfully restful stay in an absolutely beautiful home!
This was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in! Wonderful location, incredibly comfortable and beautifully furnished! Any time we had a question Kim was super responsive! Best thing was seeing the four black bears run through the Christmas tree farm that backs up to the property! My favorite time was early morning sitting on the deck with my coffee watching the sunrise over the Smoky Mountains. You can't get a more peaceful place. Gorges State Park is 11 miles away and a perfect place to hike and picnic. Highlands is the place to go shopping with many unique shops. Slab Town Pizza is Cashiers is delicious, brick oven pizza. Ingels grocery is the perfect place to pick up everything you need. We had a couple of rainy afternoons but being stocked up with groceries and having streaming tv options we were totally content! You can't pick a better more restful place!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and that you found the area as beautiful and peaceful as we do. We would love to have you stay with us next time you are in the area!
Comfortable. Beautiful view. Beyond expectations.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Cabin is very clean and inviting; the view is beautiful; kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking; the property is simply cozy and warm; highly recommend.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We would love to have you and your family any time.
Beautiful view and very comfortable.
We had a great time at this property! The home was very spacious and comfortable. The view was beautiful! It sits right in the middle of a Christmas tree farm. House is close to town so it was easy to get to restaurants, shopping, and grocery store. We would definately stay here again!
Quiet wonderful cabin
This place was awesome! Had everything we needed. It's up the mountain and u feel like you are in a quiet area all only, but you are only 10 mins from town! We just loved it!
Cozy, Casual, and Peaceful
Great little cabin. Doesn't have all the amenities of some other cabins, but it makes up for it in charm and comfort. Very peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the mountains. Quick trip into Cashiers and very close to Panthertown Valley recreational area. High elevation and lots of screened windows and fans means the cabin was very comfortable, even in late July. Layout with open-plan kitchen/living/dining in the middle and bedrooms on either side means no one will feel crowded. Favorite spot was the sunporch in the AM. Will definitely return!
It takes about 8 minutes to get from Highway 64 to the house (2.9 miles). It is close enough to Cashiers (15 minutes or so) to be very convenient yet is far enough up the mountain so that you feel you are definitely "getting away from it all."
The first part of Dry Land Lane is a dirt/gravel road that can be slightly bumpy in spots. The second section is paved, making the climb to the top of the ridge easy. The view is definitely worth the ride!
