Mt. Mitchell Golf & Country Club vacation rentals

My husband, our dog and I spent a wonderful week at this house. The house itself is nicely laid out with lots of room in the common areas and two bedrooms (with full baths) on each floor. The views of the valley are fantastic, whatever the weather or time of day. We loved all the little touches -- the coffee/tea station, the pull-out dog gates on the porch (to insure our dog didn't go exploring for wildlife), and a shelf stocked with flashlights and bug spray for night time walks. Would definitely return. The area is still coming back from Hurricane Helene so some roads and trails may be closed but there is still plenty to do. Would HIGHLY recommend the Blue Ghose Firefly walking tour with Snakeroot Ecotours -- that was truly a unique experience. Asheville is about an hour's drive so it makes a great day trip.

Cabin was in a great location, with just a short drive to plenty of hiking trails in the Mount Mitchell area. There were great views of the mountains from inside, as well as from the very spacious deck. The cabin was clean and had everything you'd need for a pleasant getaway. James was spot on with communication and is a very responsive host. We will definitely book again and look forward to our next stay.

We had the best time at this beautiful cabin! Check in was easy, cabin was very clean and Brenda was such a delight to work with. This little gem is a duplex, but having Brenda close was so helpful for any question we had about the area. The cabin is completely private, so truly a great combination of privacy and availability for anything. The view from the back balcony is gorgeous! We had so many meals on the deck just taking it all in. We swam everyday, enjoyed the clubhouse fire pit and hiked the gorgeous waterfall that is only 1 mile away. We had a picnic on the the blue ridge parkway and visited Little Switzerland. Such a sweet summer retreat for our family of 5.

We enjoyed the home and area. While we didn’t need anything the owners were more than welcoming and available if needed.
