About Vacasa, WA - Seattle Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice location but parking is a major concern
Parking is a major issue. 2 hour street parking is not convenient. I would not consider this property in the summer/holiday months
Beautiful, spacious apartment in a great location!
This apartment is gorgeous and very spacious and Greenlake is a great area to stay in. You have beautiful nature nearby, with Greenlake just a few minute walk from the apt., and you also have urban comforts, with plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The directions to get the key and then find the entrance to the building seemed initially complicated in the email, but then when actually checking in, it turned out to be quite easy. Make sure have the instructions at hand though.
Excellent Property in Seattle
My husband and I appreciate the property of Vacasa in Green Lake, Wa. It is convenient and comforting to stay in such a location. It is close to bus lines and restaurants. Thank you for making our stay such a lovely one. We will be back!
Very convenient to bus, food, lake etc.
Altho we enjoyed your property very much, we would recommend drawer space in bedroom for those of us who love it so much, that we stay longer. Thank you!
Walk everywhere in this little slice of seattle.
Great location in Green Lake! Cleanliness....not so much.
THE LOCATION:
The good - Green Lake is an AWESOME little area of Seattle, roughly 25 minutes from the city center. There are many coffee shops, restaurants, yoga and bike shops, a drug store and a market within easy walking distance from the "Circa" condo complex where this unit is located. Plus, the gorgeous Green Lake park is directly across the street. The area seems very safe, was well-lit, and quiet.
The not-so-good - No major complaints about the location other than the fact that it does take a little while to get to the city - especially if traffic is bad - and there isn't much around in the way of shopping if that's what your looking for.
THE UNIT:
The good - Again, the "Circa" complex where this unit is located is in a great location, and also seemed to be very safe, secure, quiet, and friendly. Lots of dogs and young professionals live in this complex. The unit itself is located on the 4th floor, and was fairly decently decorated, with basic amenities and all of the kitchen appliances you could need. The internet was fast, and the Spectrum TV channels were a nice bonus for nights in.
The not-so-good - Where do I begin? This unit, while in a great location, had quite a few drawbacks that I wanted to overlook, but just couldn't. First, when we arrived the unit appeared rather dirty, with nearly every surface covered in noticeable dust. The bed pillows had hair on them (gross), and the bathroom was also in serious need of a deep cleaning with dingy walls, and a moldy shower curtain (mega gross). The furniture in this unit is NOT COMFORTABLE. Forget sitting, much less sleeping on the futon....it was horribly uncomfortable. The bed, hard as a rock. Furthermore, some of the decor elements in the condo were in pretty poor shape - for example one of the bar stools had a ripped top, and the pineapple on the dining table was clearly broken. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but just little things that further led to the unit appearing to need some love and attention. Also, the dishwasher is louder than a tsunami - so forget running it while you're there, and the shower, on top of the shower head being extremely low (sorry, tall folks!), the water took a solid 15 minutes to reach even a lukewarm temperature. Not fun.
Overall, this unit has a great location and seems to be in a safe and desirable area, but it definitely is in need of some TLC. Probably would think twice about staying here again.
