Being in the area is a big part of me. I would choose no other place to live, work and play. Thus stands the reason why I am a realtor and vacation rental owner. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have: (828) 273-6607
Julie Lapkoff purchased this cabin in 2014
I chose to build this property from ground up with the vacationer in mind. Having owned rentals for several years and gone through remodeling and redesigning vacation rentals, I thought it was time for vacation renters to a luxury cabin built just for them.
We loved our time at the cabin. It is absolutely gorgeous & the views are breathtaking. We’ll be back!
Great location we were able to visit Gatlinburg one day, go horse back riding another and just hang around for some R & R. Wonderful place we will return. . . . .
Floored by the class of this place because it's rustic charm provides an upscale experience for a couple. The decor is rustic yet chic and the feel of the place is open and airy. It is at the very top of the peak and provides a beautiful view to the south out the windows. The kitchen is modern and ready for you to use (just know it isn't stocked with more than appliances, if you need something like a spice or oil - bring it...)
The bed is comfortable and on the firmer side but has a nice pillowtopper. We didn't get a chance to use the bath but the shower was wonderful. Everything about this place just speaks to a classy stay and yet removed from the real world for just a while.
We were very pleased with the vacation rental.Julie was a pleasure to work with. The views were incredible and the area was very quite. The only noise we heard were the song birds.
The house was perfect and exactly as depicted in the photos. Julie was very accommodating and helpful. I definitely plan to come back next year for another weekend away.
The view and the buildout are something to behold! I cannot state enough the quality of craftsmanship and vision that went into building this place. Come here for: quiet, rural setting, wildlife, views, and quality everything. Do not come here to be in the heart of it all. It's about 20 minutes from Waynesville and it's an old country road getting back to the residence. This is not bad, just know what you're getting. My suggestion, bring plenty of food and everything you need to stay at this place and try to make as few trips as you can out and about it -- enjoy the property because it is stunning! If you want to be near more action, stay some place else. My wife and I will definitely come again if we make it down this way!
