Adorable Cabin with big mountain views 10 Minutes to DT Asheville

This adorable sparkling clean little cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. With its vaulted ceilings, tasteful décor and gorgeous year round mountain views, you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay at the "Sparrows Nest". The bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a picturesque view of the mountains and the patio garden from the window. The bathroom has a full-size walk-in shower and lots of soft towels and plenty of hot water, and a washer and dryer. The kitchen has full-size stainless appliances: oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, and refrigerator with ice maker a Keurig and regular coffee pot. There are plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils and a breakfast bar with comfortable stools. The living is cozy with a space to read or watch TV. Step out onto the lovely covered deck to enjoy outdoor dining, a glass of wine or your morning coffee. Relax in the patio/garden and listen to the songbirds and sound of the bubbling water fountain or sit by the fire-pit to enjoy the beautiful night skies at the end of the day. Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate are only about 12-14 minutes away. The NC Arboretum and Blue Ridge Parkway are also close by. Lots of hiking and mountain biking 10 minutes to Berm Park mountain biking venue, trails, rafting and Zen tubing are only about 15 minutes so you can enjoy the mountain experience. Asheville Outlets, Discount Shoes and lots of brewers and unique restaurants and art stores are just minutes away as well.

Cozy cabin. It’s small, but very organized and clean. We absolutely loved our stay. It was a very private place, close to anywhere you really wanted to go. Great Weekend Getaway

Great location, 15 - 20 minutes outside of Asheville, just minutes off the interstate, but still feels like you're in the country with mountain view from front porch double rocker. Lovely little cabin with electric grill, fire-pit, firewood. Very clean, comfortable and cozy inside and out.

Hello: My name is Cathy Moore and I am the owner of the “Sparrow’s Nest” cabin. I am a native of Western North Carolina and currently live in Asheville. I grew up on a small farm in the Mills River community and graduated from college with a degree in horticulture and landscaping. I love to bike, hike, and garden. Outdoor photography is one of my favorite hobbies. And with the abundance of wildlife, birds, waterfalls, streams, and colorful seasons it is easy to always find something to fill the frame. I have a great love and appreciation for the mountains and am very grateful for my heritage. To own a place where others can come to stay and enjoy this lovely area is such a privilege.

This lovely vacation home get-a-way is great as a couple’s retreat, or a romantic get-a-way. The location of the cabin very convenient and an easy drive to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, Maggie Valley, Harrah's casino, and Cherokee Indian Reservation. Outlet shopping, Antiquing, and of course beautiful waterfalls, tons of hiking and biking trails, zip-line, golfing, fishing are close by and ready for your enjoyment.
