About Suzy Laibson
We have lived in Asheville for close to 30 years. We have remained here because it is by far the most wonderful place to live and play! We have both been in hospitality for most of our careers.
Suzy Laibson purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why Suzy Laibson chose Charlotte Street
We find that one very important reason people come to Asheville is for it's wonderful scenery. This property provides that. In addition, on a nice day, it is close enough to downtown you can walk there.

Private, Comfortable, Well-maintained, Great View
City Lights exceeded any expectations we had. It was a wonderful apartment with an amazing view. Suzy was so nice and hospitable. We had a wonderful time here and would certainly stay again!
Perfect location and beautiful property!
City Lights was in the perfect location to explore downtown Asheville and Biltmore. It was a quick drive to anywhere! It was perfect for 2 couples traveling together as the room layout offered lots of privacy but plenty of common spaces. The house is very modern and has all of the comforts of home. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!
Cute place! Very clean.
Wonderful time at City Lights
We had a such a nice stay at City Lights. The location was great with fabulous views in a quiet neighborhood. Uber was very easy and inexpensive to take from City Lights. The place we immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed already there. The bedrooms were a nice size with very comfy beds and soft sheets. The bathrooms were also very nice.
The owner was above and beyond helpful and quickly responsive to our questions. She made the process so easy and even kept us informed of the weather as were arriving during a snow storm.
I would absolutely stay at City Lights again. Everyone in our party loved the place. Next time I want to visit when it is warm enough to enjoy the beautify deck.
We stayed at City Lights for our trip to the Biltmore Rdtate. The property is beautiful. It was close to everything, but far enough away that it was quiet. Suzy was very nice and helpful.
Loved the view day or night every time I looked out a window or walked out on the deck.
The furnishings were great and up to date. Very comfortable bedrooms with own bath makes it very convenient. The bathroom with just the shower could use a little more storage space (i.e.. shelving) in order to keep personal items accessible.
We ate out most meals except for breakfast so didn't do much cooking but kitchen looked very well stocked. Thanks
Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village are 5 minutes away and a marvelous way to spend at least one day. Many water activities are minutes away, such as canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, tubing and for the adventurous, a swim-up bar. There are zip lines, segue rentals, mountain biking and hiking. You will find the shopping and many galleries and resident craft artists well worth a visit. Especially the River Arts District which has become a haven for world class artists. Asheville has been named beer city, USA 4 years running with over 18 microbreweries. Restaurants are too many to mention, with some which have been nominated, or received, the James Beard Award.
