About Suzy Laibson
We have lived in Asheville for close to 30 years. We have remained here because it is by far the most wonderful place to live and play! We have both been in hospitality for most of our careers.
Suzy Laibson purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why Suzy Laibson chose Charlotte Street
We find that one very important reason people come to Asheville is for it's wonderful scenery. This property provides that. In addition, on a nice day, it is close enough to downtown you can walk there.

My sister and I and our two cousins stayed here in mid June. We LOVED this apartment. This apartment is extremely nice. It was very clean and very spacious. It has two very nice bedrooms each with a King size bed. The view from the deck is amazing. The deck is huge and you can stay out there all night just gazing at the view. The owners were overly helpful, nice, polite and very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. You can walk downtown from here or it's only a five dollar uber ride. It has easy excess to the mountains for hiking and only about 15 minutes to the Biltmore. If we ever make it back to Asheville we would absolutely stay here again. I cannot say enough great things about this place.
Perfect location with an incredible view!
The owner Suzy was great to work with from booking through checkout. The house is spacious, modern, and clean. We sat for hours on the deck each night just staring at the mountains and watching the beautiful sunsets. The location is a short walk to a few restaurants and a short Uber ride to downtown. Highly recommend this property!
The condo had a nice, large balcony with a beautiful view. Nice to sit outside. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the separate bedrooms with king beds and bathrooms. We walked to downtown one day; otherwise we drove everywhere. A good location. Owner is super nice, helpful, and accommodating. Only negative of whole property is backing out of driveway on a curvy road. I would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful place to stay in Asheville.
The appt was beautiful and very close to town and everything we wanted to do. Close to Grove Park Inn in a beautiful area. We will be back on our next trip.
Beautiful views, nice place
Great location, Beautiful views. Perfect for 2 couples. Would definitely stay again.
This spot was close to Downtown Asheville and all the fun it has to offer. Great for two couples traveling as the bedrooms are at opposite sides of the rental, allowing for privacy. The deck was comfortable and the view great. We enjoyed visiting sites during the day, coming back to City Lights for a break before heading out again. Relaxing on the deck after dark was a great way to end the busy day.
Suzy was a great hostess and fun to chat with. We'd definitely go back!
Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village are 5 minutes away and a marvelous way to spend at least one day. Many water activities are minutes away, such as canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, tubing and for the adventurous, a swim-up bar. There are zip lines, segue rentals, mountain biking and hiking. You will find the shopping and many galleries and resident craft artists well worth a visit. Especially the River Arts District which has become a haven for world class artists. Asheville has been named beer city, USA 4 years running with over 18 microbreweries. Restaurants are too many to mention, with some which have been nominated, or received, the James Beard Award.
