Beautiful property and definitely worth the price! Deer frequent the property in the morning and evenings alongside bunnies and jack rabbits. View is excellent! House was comfy, clean and very well equipped! If you are coming from out of town, I would recommend finding somewhere to stock up on food for your stay. The food at the local general store is insanely overpriced. Overall very good experience and will definitely be back in the near future!

This is a lovely place to stay. The home is impeccable. It has lots of options for cooking in the kitchen. Coffee and tea in good supply. There are so many utensils for cooking, pans and cutting boards, and everything is easy to maneuver. The view is so beautiful, the beds comfortable, the rain shower a total delight. Weather did not require heat but if we needed it we never found info on how to use it. A few more instructions for heat would help.

Lovely simple home with an amazing view in a great area. We were two friends traveling from out of state for a wedding. One bedroom was very large with a view and an en suite bath but the other was much bedroom and separate bath were much smaller and dark. En suite bath doesn’t have a door— just see through curtains which i really didn’t like. No kleenex or good coffee set up (like bean grinder, french press or pour over) which seems like a real oversight in such a food focused area though I appreciated that the knives were reasonably sharp! The garbage area was kind of gross and while composting bin is available (and required?) there is no countertop bin or written statement of what garbage is compostable, recyclable or landfill which would have been useful for those visitors who are from put of town like ourselves Lastly the garage is stated on the listed but it didn’t seem accessible

We make every effort to clearly describe the rental and the amenities provided so that guests can make an informed decision before booking\. For example, our listing specifically states that we provide a drip coffee maker\. We do not advertise a coffee grinder or several of the other items mentioned in your review\. While we understand that these may have been amenities you personally would have preferred, they are not amenities represented as being provided with this rental\. We also provide photographs of all rooms and areas of the home so prospective guests can review the property carefully and determine whether it meets their needs before making a reservation\. We must also respectfully disagree with the characterization of the garbage and recycling facilities as “gross\.” The garbage and recycling containers inside the home are cleaned, and the exterior bins are clearly marked for proper disposal and recycling\. We certainly understand that every guest has individual preferences regarding the amenities they would like to have available\. However, we feel it is important to distinguish between personal preferences and amenities that were actually advertised as being included with the rental\. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify these points for future guests

Overall property was good, views were amazing and I would stay there again. Proximity to the beach is fantastic. However you are up on a hill so we decided to drive down and park in the beach lot, which is 10. Pros: overall nice and clean. Kitchen well stocked which was perfect for us who like to cook. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels for the bathrooms. Deck has an amazing view, chairs to sit out and relax, and watch the waves and wildlife. Cons: Communication with the property agent could be better. Called a few times, no answer, no call back. Would respond shortly on the app but the responses seemed automated. Needs a better water heater. The beautiful soaking tub only filled to 1/3 of the way before the water turned cold. Overall property needs some minor repairs: painting over scuffed chair line at the bar, covering small holes in walls where things used to hang, hole behind bedroom door where the doorknob hit. Obviously these are just aesthetics, but something that prevents this from being an exceptional property in my opinion. There was also another small detached room in the front enclosed patio that was not in any of the pictures or description. The room was empty with a single chair. Kinda gave us the creeps.

We do not use automated responses—every guest communication is handled personally by a member of our team. The small room on the deck with the single chair is now shown on our website. It is a sunroom with a sofa bed where guests can relax, read, or take a nap. We also plan to add a small desk to make the space even more functional. Once our busy season has ended, we will be repainting the interior of the home. We recently completed painting the exterior, and the interior is next on our list of improvements. My daughter and I stayed as we wanted a quiet place to just zone out. The house is very comfortable has a great view. Make sure you take all your food with you as you are not close to any grocery stores or restaurants.
