About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

If location is everything, you won’t find a better vacation spot than Arie Dam 403 in Madeira Beach, Florida. Arie Dam is located directly on the beach and your fourth-floor condo gives you an unbelievable view of the white sand beach and turquoise water stretching as far as the eye can see. Your access is great from Arie Dam 403 too. Situated halfway up the island, you’re close to a mainland access bridge and just a short ways from John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk and Treasure Island.

From the moment you walk over the threshold into Arie Dam 403, your eyes and attention will be drawn to the blue Gulf waters off your screened balcony. You’ll spend many an evening watching the sunset over the Gulf as you sip a cocktail and talk about your day’s adventures with friends. The table for four is perfect for a card game or simply appetizers while you wait for dinner.

The handsomely updated interior décor includes a living room with plush couches and a recliner. There’s a wall-mounted TV in case you want to watch a movie or catch the news. You’ll love gathering here with your guests to plan your day or relive your adventures on the beach or golf course.

Just beyond the living area in the open concept space is a dining table for six. Whether you’re dining on something you’ve whipped up in the kitchen or on the fare you picked up at a takeout, this table will get plenty of use and if overflow seating is needed there’s space for three at the breakfast bar.

Your Arie Dam 403 kitchen is open to the dining area through the breakfast bar that also doubles as a great pass-through window to get food on the table. With its ample granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a full assortment of cooking and serving ware, you’ll find preparing meals in this kitchen is a true pleasure.

Even with this fully equipped kitchen, you’ll no doubt want to go out and enjoy the tasty restaurants of Madeira Beach. From fine dining favorites like Pearl Restaurant, Salt Rock Grill, and Selene to more economical choices like Mama’s Kitchen and Sweet Sage, there are myriad options for you to consider.

Down the hall from your Arie Dam 403 kitchen is your private laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer. Just throw in a load and head to the beach. What could be more convenient?

After a day of parasailing, fishing, beachcombing, or visiting the many attractions at John’s Pass Village, your master retreat will look like a million bucks. Walk into the serene white room with the wonderful king-sized bed and you’ll be lucky to stay awake until the news is over on your wall-mounted TV. Your master also has access to the balcony where you can sit and watch the stars come out over the Gulf.

Your master en suite is just steps from the bed with a hot shower and expansive vanity with dual sinks. There’s plenty of room for two people to get ready for their day of fun.

Guests traveling with you will enjoy staying in the second bedroom, which is outfitted with a king-sized bed and also a sofa sleeper that’s great for any kids in your group. Like the master, this bedroom also has a wall-mounted TV and plenty of storage for guests’ clothes.

The second bathroom includes a shower/tub combination so you can bathe the kids and still have a hot shower for the adults. The long granite-topped vanity is complemented by a massive mirror that gives guests a good assessment of their appearance before they head out for the day.
In addition to all the fun you’ll find in and around Madeira Beach, Arie Dam has its own beautiful swimming pool and spa that are right by the beach. Bring a book down to the pool and after a swim, dry off on a lounge chair in the warm Florida sunshine. Rather go directly to the beach? Access to the beach is right beyond the pool. In need of improvements

 • 3 of 5

While the condominium was nice in general and served our purpose for vacation...there are many improvements needed to the unit we stayed in before any future guests stay. As we walked in our unit the utility closet door literally fell on us with one tiny brush up against it. It was completely broken. The carpet needs replacement immediately as no one wants light beige carpet covered in stains. The sliding glass door opening to the balcony took 2 people to open and needs to be replaced. The balcony screens were duct taped. Not exactly the view of beauty looking thru duct taped screens. The screens were also torn and flapping in the wind in the master bedroom window. The dining table chairs need to be replaced as the center cushions are stained and less than sturdy. Vinyl or leather would be smarter to wipe off easily. The guest bathroom tub needs non slip grips cause my son almost fell each shower he took. The guest bedroom fan was so shaky it made a super loud noise causing us to have to use a box fan from home to block out the noise. Speaking of box fans from home...bring one from home cause the outdoor balcony needs a ceiling fan bad! Also there was construction going on right next door unit. They were using saws set right out on the balcony each day that could be heard all the way down the beach. We even had to hear it while swimming in the ocean! The biggest complaint is the key entry situation. While we appreciate the security. There is obviously a better way! Everyone we encountered was fussing about how we had to use keys to enter in and out of the pool and lobby. It makes zero sense to not have a keypad entry with codes! 2 sets of keys for 6 people staying in one unit is too difficult when family members are coming and going at different times. It was so difficult to use the keys. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! The last thing bad about our unit was the cleanliness. When you pay that amount of money and cleaning fees with zero money expect spotless condos for your family. There were bugs wrapped up in the extra linens in the closets. There was hair under the sheets. I read all the reviews on this unit and just hoped people were being picky. However I quickly discovered that while the decor of the condo is pretty, many updates and renovations are necessary! It will be a nice place when all of the above mentioned things are fixed, but until then it's not worth the money it costs! The owners should take more care to fixing the unit!

Owner's Response: Hello Heather, Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We appreciate all comments and recommendations from guests as this is how we can improve the guest experience. It is comforting to know that you were able to enjoy your vacation and enjoyed all what the area had to offer. That being said, we would still like to extend our deepest regrets for any inconveniences that you may have endured during your stay. This was not want we intended for you as providing guests with pleasurable and suitable accommodations continues to be one of our prime goals. Clearly we missed the mark and we apologize. Understanding your frustrations and discontent, we are fully committed to making sure that these issues are addressed. Although we were unable to fix the items during your stay, we are happy to announce that the issues are actively being handled to improve the guest experience. Unaware of the construction, we are sympathetic to this issue as we try to keep guests updated when these rare instances occur. Still understanding how disappointing and distracting this may be while on vacation, we hope you know that it was not our aim and going forth we will keep open communication with the association about such matters. Again, thank you for your comments and although you may have qualms to return, we hope that you will continue to book with us.

Great place

 • 5 of 5

Nothing but a great experience. Didn't really like having to wait until after 3 PM to check in after driving 800 miles. But once we arrived, nothing but praise for the property.

1st Time at Mad Beach

 • 4 of 5

Condo was clean the carpet leaves a little bit of negative. To much furniture on the deck and real need of ceiling fan out there. Loved the easy access to the beach, pool was great. Would consider staying there again.
