Very neat and cozy. We spent the Thanksgiving Holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. From the fire pit, games for the grandkids to play, close proximity to restaurants downtown, large back yard, and very nice kitchen, this place is well thought out. We were completely satisfied and the cabin is a good/fair value.

Such a cute place for a girl’s get together. Location is great and it has everything you need. Only one thing I would recommend is a makeup light in the bathrooms. Other than that enjoyed the home.

Getaway

Excellent property. Stocked well with what we needed. It rained the weekend we were there, unfortunately we didn’t experience being able to sit out & enjoy nature. We weren’t crazy about the neighborhood, but the house was very nice.

Great spot. Close to all the fun spots

Very nice place. My wife and kids loved every second. Its very peaceful and quiet but still close to McCaysville and Blue Ridge. We plan to use this place again any time we go to the area.

The Perfect Cabin!

Super clean!!!! Totally updated!! Very convenient to great shops, restaurants and white water rafting! The host was very helpful with activities. We highly recommend this property! It had everything for our family to celebrate my sons16th birthday! Great lifelong memories! Thank you!!!

Perfect Location, Clean, Nice Decor

My family recently stayed at this vacation home and it exceeded our expectations. The property was well-maintained, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. If I had to nitpick, it would be the front porch lighting is very dim, causing difficulty seeing the front steps at night. Would definitely stay again!

The house is beautifully renewed and located in a road of easy access. Overall, very quiet at night. Kids loved all the games and toys available for them at the basement. Beds on the upstairs bedrooms could improve for more comfort.

Great house for a large group!

We had a lovely stay. Having three floors with a bathroom on each floor worked so well for our large family. The house was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed having coffee each morning on the little balcony off of the kitchen. The keyless entry system worked great and it was nice not to have to worry about keys. We would definitely stay here again! Super smooth stay!

Great location and very easily accessible - an easy drive to restaurants and bars in the area. House amenities were wonderful (and would be a perfect house for kids)! Owner was super responsive to any needs. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be booking again!

Relaxing

My oldest daughter and her family met the rest of the family at this lovely home that had plenty of room for all 9 of us! The kids enjoyed the downstairs like it was their own apartment and the rest of the house is roomy and spacious. We saw three turkey hens with their babies right in the yard, also a doe and her fawn... Much needed get together!

Beautiful cabin in a great location

We stayed here for a family vacation and loved it. This cabin does NOT have a steep driveway, which was a huge plus to us because we have dealt with some scary driveways at other rentals. This cabin is super conveniently located with a Walmart being only 15 minutes away and the little downtown area being less than 5 minutes away. There were lots of towels and bath products which was really nice. Also salt and some other spices in the kitchen. The property is really pretty and we saw some deer. The creek out back is the perfect size for kids of any age to splash in. There is tubing and kayaking on the river just 5 minutes from the cabin. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Blue Ridge area.

Great Cabin

The cabin was beautifully decorated, all amenities were available and beds were comfortable. Close to downtown and local eateries. The kids enjoyed the downstairs basement which included tv, arcade, and board games. Definitely recommend.

AMAZING!!

Great cabin in a great location in a great little town!! Our family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids) had plenty of room to spread out then we would all come together around the fireplace or at the dinner table. McCayesville is a great little town and super close to grab a bite of food or to take a stroll. We would definitely stay here again! Super clean and not outdated. Thank you Joanne!

Family Friendly Cabin

This was a very nice getaway! The kids enjoyed playing in the creek and the arcade game. The pictures are a very accurate depiction of the cabin. Joanne was very helpful and welcoming!

Wonderful stay

What an exceptional home! We love every details of this house, it shows how much thought the owner has put in this place. We have a big family but the stay was very comfortable! The kids love the playroom and and up and down the stairs. We actually thinking of coming back in the next couple months. That's how much we love the place and the town.

So peaceful

We spent so much time sitting on the porch or in the creek looking for crawdads. It’s so quiet and peaceful. The owners were quick to respond to emails and so kind. We loved our stay. Thank you!

Wonderful Gem and more than expected!

Creekside Craftsman was perfect! Wonderful updated/new cabin and extremely well outfitted for arrival. Directions from Joanne were spot on and it is a nice mile+ walk to the downtown area. We were there to hear the 17 year cycle of the cicadas as well. Pretty cool! We will stay here again! Thank you!

Amazing cabin

This cabin was everything thing it lists and more. We had a range of ages for children with us and there was something for all of the ages from board games to toys. It was conveniently located had the small town close by but also had a Walmart a short drive away. The cabin it self was well maintained and very clean we will definitely pick this place again.

Everything was great with one small hiccup!

Host offered early check-in. Home came with binder with helpful info about the area, plenty little notes around the house for helpful reminders. Home really clean and spacious. Had almost everything you will need to enjoy your stay as far as utensils and things of that sort. Only small thing well could have been a huge thing but everything turned out okay! The gate leading to downstairs area was not very sturdy...my 2 year old touched it and it shattered! He was okay but things could have been really bad. I did notify the owners and I expect they will fix the gate with a more sturdy option. Other than that everything was great! Oh and the basement area doesn't have heat/air so plan accordingly.

Nice Little Getaway

It’s a cute house and kept very clean. The kids loved the basement with the bunk beds and there were games and toys down there to play with too. The fire pit outside was nice to have as the weather was cooling down. It’s in a cute little town right on the river, which is nice because we found a park where we could fish at. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
