Come relax and stay at the cozy Hideaway near downtown St Petersburg, Fl! The bungalow is a 2 bedroom/1bath house with central air/heat and a coastal vintage vibe.
The master bedroom has a queen memory foam topper bed with a large dresser, luggage rack, small closet, and views of the tree and tropical plant shaded backyard/garden. When you wake up from your deep sleep, you can walk out to the front porch and sip on a cup of coffee on the bench swing (also shaded by palms and surrounded by seashell mobiles).
The guest bedroom has a memory foam daybed that converts into a king bed if needed. This room also doubles as a reading nook if you want to quietly get away while others are in the living room area. The room has views of the tropical plants and the peaceful front yard.
The coastal bathroom contains a bathtub/shower combo and has everything you need - towels, washcloths, blow dryer, and even some toiletries if you forgot yours.
The living space features a sitting area with a non-functional (but pretty to look at) vintage white-washed fireplace. Who needs the heat when you're already in Florida! There is a medium size television with complimentary cable and WI-FI. Nearby in the open design living space, the dining table seats 4, but can expand to seat 6.
Want to make your own comfort food while on vacay? Say no more! The newly updated full kitchen features hand-made concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances with copper features and ship-lap (channeling my inner Joanna Gaines)!!! The only thing missing is a don't fret! The double bowl stainless steel sink has a convenient drying rack right next to it with complementary dish soap, sponges, brushes, and dish cloths. The cupboards are filled to the gills with vintage glass dishware as well as acrylic dishes if you want to eat outside. There are cooking utensils and a full set of cute teal pots and pans. You should be all set to cook yourself a meal!
Wait! there's more..... step from the kitchen to the back porch. You'll find a stackable washer/dryer to use if need be. Packing light is the way to go!
Walk from the back porch to the backyard area lined with cute brick-like pavers. The yard is surrounded by palms and other trees to give the space shade and natural privacy. You'll want to relax there for a while! There's an outdoor dining table that can be lengthened (just pull the sides up and lock into place) and seat extra people!!
Now that you've relaxed a little bit, why not enjoy the beach or explore the town! Gulf beaches are a 20-25 minute car drive (only because of those pesky stop lights) and the bay and downtown area is a 22 minute walk, short bike or car ride away! Central Avenue shops/restaurants are the same walk and distance as the bay. Do you like to exercise??? Crescent Lake is 5 blocks away with a trail for running/walking looping around the big pond. You can even go there to take a look at the ducks and the geese who've made this water their home. The house is centrally located so you can enjoy everything St Petersburg has to offer! Any questions?? The owners live nearby, so they can assist with any needs or questions you may have. We hope you enjoy your stay at the Hideaway!
