Why Scott Parker chose Point Richmond
You will find this property to be extremely relaxing. It is fully self-contained and with internal heating you will find always be super comfortable. The expansive deck is great for bbqs, lounging in the sun, morning yoga or watching the sunset. You will also see the San Francisco city skyline with all of its dazzling lights (as long as it isn't covered in fog!).

Great location. Owners very considerate of use of our space below their living quarters.
Property and living space very comfortable. We had no car so being able to walk to the town and church was great. Non touristy and fantastic views . Be their for sunset. Get a bottle of wine and enjoy no better view. We did have 4 and since one bathroom we did the rotation thing. Bathroom very nice and photos of unit are spot on, no surprises. I would recommend a tv in living area but there is one in master bedroom. As a result quality visiting time in living area enjoying the views from living area and every bedroom. Bring a hoodie it can get pretty chilly out on the deck
Very nice hosts. Beautiful, clean property. Beautiful view and very spacious. Great price. Would stay again!
There's a reason this place is called, "No Worries"!
Such a beautiful stay! The views are absolutely AMAZING (how many rentals have a view of all three bridges and a beautiful bay?), the home was clean, welcoming, and exactly what we needed! Although we were busy and didn't spend a lot of time here during the day, we made sure we were back to watch the gorgeous sunset a couple of nights. Enjoyed a cup of coffee on the deck in the mornings and soaked in the views before heading out for the day. So much to do and see in the area. . . whether you're planning to visit the local restaurants and shops or venturing further out.
Thanks Jess and Scott for sharing your home with us! We hope to be back before too long.
Reviews like this are why we love being hosts. So glad you enjoyed your stay.
We have a brand new 30 min ferry service to San Francisco (as of this week). You have to come back and give it a try. Even more great views of the bay!
My husband and I had a peaceful 3 week stay in this lovely home.
You MUST stay here! Great location, prop owner & possibly the best views of any VRBO in the area.
My family decided to travel to CA for the Raider-Cowboys game. Even though there were several VRBO properties closer to the stadium, I liked the pictures & reviews of this one & since I had to stay behind & babysit, I wanted a nice place with a view.
We had no problem finding the home thanks to Scott's map (sorry Google!) & were happy to see the dedicated parking, no having to fight for a parking space! On our first day, it was hazy & you could only see one bridge. The view was still great & the house was amazing (very clean & neat!). We checked out Point Richmond Market (excellent deli, good selection of groceries & everyone was super nice) & ate at El Tunel (good burgers). Back at the house, we watched the sunset, great colors but still hazy.
The next day it was windy & a bit chilly but it also meant the views were crystal clear! You could see San Francisco so we decided to take a day trip. We parked in a parking garage by Pier 39, $10 per hour/$50 max & just toured the shops. Had dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co - the beer battered fish is delicious.
Nothing, including comments from previous reviews, prepared us for the view upon returning home. The lights of all 3 bridges & the city of San Francisco were amazing! Even if nothing else was good, these views would make up for it. It truly must be seen to be believed.
On Sunday, I dropped my family off at the Raiders stadium and they took the BART train back. Upon reading a review from a previous guest, we also went to the El Cerrito station. It had a huge parking lot & I was afraid it would be packed after the game but I don't think there were 25 cars in the parking lot.
As far as the actual house, it shows how much the owners care about their visitor's comfort. From the fluffy towels to the soft linens, the quality bath washes & hand soaps, the nice selection of dishes, cookware, spices and oils, the large selection of visitor brochures on places to go, the comfortable beds... need I say more? Definitely ask to see the pictures during WW2.
I would love to return but for a much longer stay. Could have spent DAYS relaxing on the deck. So many things to do & see nearby, lots of little shops to explore.. I would also utilize the BART system.
Visited briefly with Scott the owner, wish it could have been longer. Special thank you to him for bringing us cough syrup for the baby when he heard we were looking for a drug store.
Do yourself a favor & book here, you won't regret it!!
Absolutely stunning views!
Beautiful home tucked away on a hillside with incredible scenery. Very comfortable place to stay with a well equipped kitchen. Queen and double beds were very comfortable although the twin bed was too firm for me. Would definitely come back! Lovely owners.
We have a model train museum very close by that is extremely popular with young children. Be careful.... they won't want to leave!
