Bagatelle Guest Cottage is a unique and romantic little cottage, part of the historic oceanfront Bagatelle estate on the edge of the village of Bar Harbor. Walk by the main house to the shoreline and enjoy ever-changing views of Frenchman's Bay, Bar Harbor, and the Porcupine Islands and it is an easy stroll into the village. Very nicely furnished and maintained, it's ideal for a couple--we place many honeymooners and anniversary couples in this sweet cottage. Shares a patio area and lawn with Bagatelle (the main house); can be combined with Bagatelle to sleep up to 14.
First floor has the comfortable living room with flat screen TV and a well-equiped kitchen Second floor includes the king (or 2 twins) bedroom and full bath. Closet with stackable washer and dryer Out door patio area with furnishings and a propane grill. NOTE: Owner or other tenants may or may not occupy the main house during your stay.
Weekly Rental:7-night minimum, Saturday check-in No smoking on this property and this is a no pets property. Will consider partial weeks in early spring and late fall for $275 per night plus a $100 cleaning fee. Rates include the cost of normal departure cleaning.
All houses are fully equipped, including linens and dishes. Refundable security deposit, 9% Maine State Sales Tax and a $25 nonrefundable booking fee are not included in the rental rates shown.

The guest house was amazing!It was perfect for what we wanted.Easy walk to town,short drive to Acadia,beautiful views.Wooded area adjacent to house provided views of fox & deer.Awesome shoreline with a Loon appearing every day.Sally was a great host,providing suggestions of scenic sights and vegan food locations.We would recommend the guest house to any single or couple looking for a relaxing location after a day of hiking Acadia.
