Conch Bar cottage rentals

Just magical. North Caicos is remote and requires a few extra steps to get there, but if the idea of being on the water, looking out on islands and sand with no one else in sight, appeals at all to you then this is an amazing place to stay.Alison was a fantastic host who was very prompt in responding to our questions. She has a deep and thorough knowledge of the island and gave great advice on places to see and local restaurants to try.I would give six stars if I had the option.

The Sunset Cottage provided a relaxing stay in Middle Caicos. The natural beauty was everywhere, i.e. sunsets, coastline. The Dragon Cay Resort offered a quiet, but adventure filled experience when you rent a car and explore the island. The cottage was quaint and perfect for a couple looking to unwind.

From the the warmest smile and welcome from Evelyn when we checked in, everything was seamless and comfortable. Beautiful views and location. Wasn't too impressed with the Mudjin bar and Grill on site - we went for Sunday morning brunch. We didn't stay - the rap music in the back ground wasn't conducive to a relaxing Sunday morning by the ocean. Conch Bar Caves are a must visit, as is Seaview Café in Conch Bar - Judith who runs Seaview is lovely and has great selection of food and delicious cocktails. We ate at Seaview a couple of times. You have to Visit Big Josh Macintosh Bar in North Caicos (you'll drive past it on your way from the ferry). We made the mistake of only checking it out on our way home. Saturday nights are the night to party apparently. North and Middle Caicos are very sleepy - it was ideal for our getaway. Might not be the ideal spot for everyone, or indeed for extended stays, but it's great to get off grid a recharge your batteries.

This was a last minute trip and couldn’t have been easier or more beautiful. We’ve seen many beaches around the world and Dragon Cay and Mudgin Bay left us speechless. Snorkeling, swimming, walking/hiking, sleeping, lounging. Would have take advantage of paddle boards and kayaks but ran out of time. Cafe was delicious each bite. And we saw very few people which was charmed for us, not for people looking to tear up the nightlife or destroy the reef with jet skis. Marilyn, Demara, Jacqueson, Rowling and her daughter Divine took the best care and went above and beyond—we lacked for nothing and all the special touches were noted. We’re going back and taking all our loved ones with us!
