  This cabin was extremely nice and well maintained. The close proximity to Boone, NC and West Jefferson, and Blowing Rock made it ideal for planning different daily excursions that kept the entire family busy. Those who have small children need to check out Tweetsie Railroad in Boone. The privacy is what we enjoyed most about our stay.

  Wow, what a view! This cabin was the perfect place to get away, relax, and enjoy the NC mountains with my husband and two kids. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the views and heading out for local adventures in the area. The property was very clean and well-maintained. We will definitely come back!

  The house and view are both great ! Pros: - View of mountains and huge field - Hot tub - Plenty of room for our family of 5 - Well maintained Cons: - None noted Recommend: - Visiting Blowing Rock, it's 20-25 minutes away but worth the trip, big park for kids and shops for adults Summary: - We'll definitely be staying there again !

  A wonderful place to take a much needed vacation! The scenery is beautiful, the cabin is tasteful, clean, and well put together! All appliances in great working order and plenty of space throughout the house. We had a super weekend while staying here! The house is far away enough from town to feel secluded yet still within the limits of going into down to explore the cute town of West Jefferson! We enjoyed a day trip to Mt. Jefferson National Park to go hiking then ended it with dinner at Smoky Mt. BBQ then relaxing in the hot tub with the gorgeous mountains, pastures in the background after a long day of hiking! Definitely recommend this spot as a place to take your significant other OR your family!

  What a great place to enjoy the beauty of NC Mountains! The cabin is beautiful, neat, clean, cozy and a perfect place to relax. The porch is great for viewing the mountains! The rocking chairs are comfortable and give just the right feel of peace and relaxation. The hot tub looked inviting but there were so many activities to take in around the area, we just never found time to use it. Maybe next time! The area had a safe feeling with other beautiful/new cabins close enough to convey security, while remaining very private. Can't imagine a better place to vacation! Looking forward to another trip to this wonderful cabin in the future!

  This mountain house is the perfect place to get away from the world, yet close enough to civilization if you need to shop or dine out. The views are awesome and the cows in the field next to the house are the only immediate neighbors. The facilities are excellent, from the hot tub overlooking the mountains to the spacious living area and bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms, including the master on the ground floor plus a huge bathroom with a tub and great shower. The living area and kitchen are great for hanging out and enjoying some home cooking. Cell phone service is lacking, but the wi-fi and landline allow connectivity to the real world. Satellite TV completes the home comforts. We would recommend this house to any family wanting to enjoy a family vacation or weekend getaway.
