Our cottage is an ideal destination for your vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, holiday celebration, weekend, or anytime you want to get away from it all. We are conveniently located near the small picturesque town of Nemo (offering horse back riding and dining at the historic Brandin' Iron Cafe) and within 30 minutes of both Deadwood and Rapid City, centrally located to all Black Hills attractions, including Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Devil's Tower, Sturgis, Spearfish Canyon, Custer, Crazy Horse, and the Badlands.
Our private cottage, sitting on five acres, offers all of the comforts of home, with a small stream meandering through the property and surrounded by beautiful hills, trees and wildlife. After spending your days seeing all of the sights that the Black Hills have to offer, you will enjoy returning to this tranquil setting and relaxing on the patio or the front porch.
We have a lodging license through the State of South Dakota and have been listed in the "Insider's Guide" since 1997. - Our private cottage is surrounded by the Black Hills National Forest and abundant wildlife. We are within three miles of Dalton Lake and superb hiking in Little Elk Canyon. The Custer Expedition camped near our property in 1872 and glory holes from early settlers can be found as you hike the area surrounding the cottage.
