This apartment was perfect for me and my boyfriend. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location of the apartment is very good, near the subway and in a very quiet area for come back at night. The only problem was the heating: it was terribly hot during the night, but I think that this is a problem of all the apartments of NYC. The heating was also a little bit noisy during the night. Apart for that, everything went very good and the owner was very kind to help us for everything we need.Owner response: Thank you for your feedback! This apartment is warm & cozy during the cold winters. if you prefer less heat ... simply turn the radiator valve clockwise. The apartment overlooks a breathtaking 4,000 square foot garden. Many of our guests like to open the window for fresh air. The apartment has an excellent air conditioner which may be used any time.

My husband and I live out of town but our son and daughter in law live in Manhattan. They had a baby and we needed a place to stay for an extended period of time that was not a hotel. This location turned out to be perfect for what we needed. Everything that was promised was true. It was clean and well maintained and the owner was only a phone call away. Not only would we recommend this property to a friend or relative we would love to stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

Being a former a New Yorker, my stay in Hara 's apartment made be feel like I was home again. I don't think one can find a more majestic neighborhood as a starting point to explore the excitement of New York City. I found the apartment itself to be charming, immaculate and an all-around pleasure in every way. From the decor to the comfort and cleanliness. Hara's eagerness to help with questions from directions to suggestions made everything easy. It is a thumbs up from me.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I'm so happy we found this place and got to stay here for our first trip to New York! The property is just as described, if not better--clean, stylish, comfortable, with great amenities, and perfectly located (nice neighborhood, close to public transportation, Central Park, museums, restaurants, etc). Hara is super helpful, trustworthy, and accommodating. It truly feels like your own apartment, a home away from home. We would 100% recommend staying at any of Hara's properties and will absolutely try to book with her for future NY trips!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Stayed in this apartment for a week last month. Spacious bedroom with a very good taste of furnitures and pictures. You also have a well equipped kitchen, a cozy bathroom and a beautiful garden. The apatment itself is safe and quiet, but located in an ideal neighborhood for eating, shopping and sightseeing. And the owner is warm and reliable. The most important when you travel is to feel like on an extension of your home. This how we felt at Hara's apartment in the Upper east Side of Manhattan. The unit was very convenient located near Cornell University where my daughthers is graduating... Hara is a very caring and honest person. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend to anyone to do so....Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

I often travel by myself, and I like to stay in a safe and convenient to transportation (subway, bus, and taxi) location. The owner is conscientous and attentive. I trusted her completely. There are so many scams in NYC, it was great to find a reliable proprietor. The room is great - I loved the decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very convenient appartment. everything we needed was provided and Hara went out of her way to ensure our stay was a memorable one. We always felt very safe in this location If you want to have a great stay in NYC and be close to many of the major attractions, I'd recommend this appartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
