Was very concerned after reading negative review. Upon arrival was very relieved. House was very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Did have to request a broom. Took our own pillows and coverlets for beds. All but one bathroom seemed to be recently updated. Issues need to be addressed in other one. Pool area needs some attention. New chairs, chaise loungers and cushions. Cover on gazebo needs to be repaired. A few other areas could be tended to without much expense or time. Overall a good choice...120 steps outside of seaside and directly across steer from beach acess. Would go again if small improvements are made. Rental company very nice to work with.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

What a great place to stay! The name "Almost Heaven" says it all. Loved the house!! Couldn't be in a better location with great restaurants, great shopping in close proximity to the home. Management company's concierge service took care of our every need. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.

We didn't feel the house was clean and maintained well. The bedding and pillows were old and didn't seem clean. The gray carpeting was old and dirty and the kitchen was dated with gray and peach formica surfaces. The teflon pans were badly scratched and unuseable. The pool was very small and the patio pergola and the furniture was in disrepair, as well as the furniture on the front deck. The wicker chairs were molded and unraveled and the table leg was broken off. The downstairs foyer was small, dark and unuseable. Would not return or recommend.
