Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1995
My family has vacationed at Dillon Beach for the last 27 years and we love it. My father loved the salmon and halibut fishing, my husband the golf, my son the beach and I love the relaxing atmosphere Dillon Beach provided.
Why the Owner Chose Dillon Beach
We purchased this home in Dillon Beach because we love the tranquility and peacefulness that we experience when we are there. There is an abundance of wildlife around to view from the house including deer that roam the neighborhood. You can relax when you want, but you are still close to the big city. You can take day trips to Napa Valley, Sonoma, and the Russian River. We are close to Petaluma, Bodega Bay, Marshall, Occidental, Sebastapol, Jenner, Point Reyes, Tomales Bay, Marin, Guerveville, and the Muir Woods.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Dillon Beach has a great beach that is still pet friendly. You can enjoy the miles of sandy beaches or explore the tide pools and rock cliffs. We are 60 miles north of San Francisco and 45 minutes from the Wine Country. There is great fishing, surfing, beach combing, boogie boarding, clamming, crabing, hiking, biking, whale watching and golfing available.

This home was large enough to handle our family comfortably. . The kitchen was very well stocked and we have never rented a house with all the kitchen and cooking supplies that this home had. We were able to have a sit down dinner for 12 with no problem. We really enjoyed our time at the beach and the restful atmosphere that Dillon Beach provides.

The spacious house is immaculate as is the whole property. There were 12 of us--adults and kids--and there was plenty of room. The spacious kitchen is open to the large dining area. Accommodations are very comfortable. The view of the bay is spectacular. In addition to fishing, hiking, camping or just laying on the beach one can make the easy drive south to San Francisco or northeast to the wine country or drive north or south along the beautiful, scenic coast. There are several quaint towns with little antique shops, nestled to nearby areas, to go "antiquing." Our vacation was most restful and relaxing due to our stay in this house. We would recommend it to everyone.

This is a fabulous home. You can tell there is a lot of owner care and pride. Our family had a wonderful time there. Beautiful walks on the beach, the kids flew kites, a warm and wonderful spa. We were even visited by a beautiful family of deer! It is a great home for extended families and groups of friends. Everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. Our family hopes to revisit this paradise!

We rented the house for our family reunion. We selected this property because it was the biggest house offered. The property was clean and well-maintained. It's huge, and slept all of us very comfortably. We broke into small groups for day excursions to the beach, fishing, wine-tasting, and sightseeing, and met up each evening for dinner in the wonderful kitchen and dining room. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of plates and flatware. The double oven and huge cook top came in very handy. All in all, a great time. Thank you!

This was a very relaxing trip. The house was big enough for everybody to have their own space and enjoy our family reunion. The beach was beautiful. We enjoyed the deer wondering through the neighborhoods and the wildlife that we were able to observe. We especially liked the fenced backyard for the kids. The kitchen was large and capable of handling all our cooks. We had a great time and can't wait to come back next year.
