Comfy and fully stocked
We stayed here with our family and the bottom sleeping quarters worked perfectly for our toddler and newborn. We felt private but also like our children wouldn't wake anyone else up. The hottub was also right off of our room so that was a plus.
This house isn't fancy but it's comfy. It comes fully stocked with all necessary items in the kitchen and the beds and so comfortable. You can walk to the beach in minutes too!!! It feels private and I would definitely rent it again!
Lovely property. Cute house.
This house is for a very specific kind of getaway. It sits in a residential community, high up on a very steep hill. The entire area is very isolated. There are no touristy things to do and the nearest store is 35-ish miles away. We had a group of 10, ages 22-88.
Finding things to do required planning. Inside is an awesome kitchen with top of the line appliances and plenty of working room. The set up of the house makes the hot tub complicated to get to. It sits on a small patio at the bottom of the house, with no direct route to get to it unless you go through the apartment unit attached to the house or make your way down a steep slope. That said, getting there is worth the effort. Amazing view of the ocean! There is a requirement in the rental that says "sand in the hot tub would incur a cleaning fee." When we arrived and opened the hot tub, there was sand in it! Concerned about getting gigged for someone else's sand, we siphoned it out. The deck was surprisingly small. Not a whole lot of room to move around on. We wondered why it didn't extend across the front of the house. Windows facing the water were very dirty. In fact, it became a topic of conversation.. talking about how hard it would be to keep them clean with the constant fog and salt spray but, how frustrating it was to have to look at our gorgeous view through them. My recommendation is to make the effort to clean them before the renters arrive. Recognizing they won't stay that way, at least start off on a positive note. Beach access requires driving down the winding hill, through a congested housing community and paying $10 a day to get in. Unless you are a fitness buff, this is NOT the "get up in the morning and go for a walk on the beach" property. REALLY comfortable beds ... we all slept great. There are deer! Sitting on the deck in the early morning was a treat. An entire family living under the trees below the house. They would come right up to the deck to be fed.
Amazing! Overall, very nice home. Pleasant and comfortable.
A gem vacation escape!
This home is superb for relaxation,
fresh air, walks on the beach, and cooking!
The views from the front window and the deck are wonderful.
The kitchen is equipped with excellent utensils and coffee makers, blenders, etc.
The plates and eating implements are first class.
The refrigerator & freezer is large and spacious and the stove is perfect for a serious cook.
The beach is only a 10-15 minute walk away and you can stroll for quite a distance.
In short this a well maintained and equipped hideaway that will bring you back for future visits.
Lovely! Great views, wonderful kitchen.
Good times with children, grandchildren, cousins. And, the Warriors won! All good.
Private culinary paradise!
The amenities found in this home are jaw-dropping! Gourmet kitchen with quality appliances fit for Julia Child! But the real showstopper is the expansive and unobstructed view of the ocean! It was soul calming just to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the waves hit the shore. The beds were so comfortable we all came home feeling refreshed! There was privacy for the 5 couples who were celebrating a 70th birthday.
Randy and Cheryl were there to answer any question we had and even when we locked ourselves out, I think he was smiling on the other end of the line! Ha, ha! They were both so accommodating.
I considered not writing such a glowing review so we would ensure the house’s availability when we rebook soon but the experience was just too deserving! I would go back today! Love that 365!
Thank you so much for your glowing review. This house was designed with great cooks like you in mind. We look forward to your next stay so just remember to book early.
