Welcome to our home "Kossow Lodge" on Crescent Lake in Raymond, Maine. We have owned this Lodge since 1978.
"Kossow Lodge" is most Ideal for multi-family or large family reunions. Kossow Lodge has been the destination wedding site
Kossow Lodge is a four season, private home located on beautiful Crescent Lake,Taymond, Maine, in the heart of the Sebago Lakes Region of Southwestern Maine. With eight bedrooms and five bathrooms, Kossow Lodge comfortably accommodates twenty five plus people and uniquely provides both seclusion and serenity and plenty of activities for families and children. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and five bedrooms on the second floor with 1 King, 3 Queen beds, 3 Double beds, 6 Twin beds, 3 sleep sofas in Basement, several aero beds are available, full crib and several Pack & Plays.

From summer to winter, the Lodge is a perfect location to hold multi-family vacations, reunions, anniversary gatherings, weddings, wedding receptions, business retreats, fishing trips, winter holidays, and skiing or snowmobiling trips. With 283 feet of private waterfront on two and a half acres on the western shore of Crescent Lake, everyone will find something to enjoy during your stay. A canoe & sunfish plus 2 kayaks are included in the rental.
Peak season rental is from Saturday 2 PM till Saturday 10 AM.

The kitchen is new and fully appointed with modern appliances. The china cabinet has service for 20 plus people and the dining room with its own stone fireplace can seat your whole group. The adjacent porch has its own large picnic table.
During the summertime the porch (60'x 12') is the ideal gathering spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake views. Venture outside to enjoy our open patio deck. Travel down the steps to our dock system, which can handle your own 20 foot boat. We supply a conoe, Sunfish and two kayaks. Swim to the float and enjoy the sunshine, take the kids water-skiing, or simply keep your eyes and ears open to hear the loons. "Kossow Lodge" provides plenty of outdoor activities for those of all ages including, badminton, croquet and basketball. Inside, the gazebo offers a quiet spot for cards or board games or puzzles (all of which are supplied). The basement playroom offers a full size slate pool table, fooseball, air hockey table and a ping-pong table.
During the wintertime, the Great Room can seat your whole family(24'x 30'), its magnificent stone fireplace draws the crowds. It offers a welcoming spot to warm up and relax after a day of skiing, ice fishing, cross country skiing, or Snowmobiling. Ski trips are a breeze with Shawnee Peak only 25 miles away and Sunday River 53 miles away.
No Smoking inside Kossow Lodge... Sorry No Pets Allowed. Maximum allowed overnight guests is 25, excluding babies. For larger groups, please inquire about our adjacent cottage that sleeps six.

After years of vacationing on the Cape, we decided to try something more secluded, serene and laid back. Crescent Lake in Raymond, Maine has provided our family with many enjoyable summer months away from the madding crowd.

Please note that in the past three years we have had several sightings of a pair of Eagles flying close by looking for a fish meal.
Walk out our access road to Rt 85 travel a short distance to the start of great hiking trail up Rattlesnake Mountain... Note: There are no posinous snakes in the State of Maine
Trailhead located off Conesca Rd. I first climb this trail with a group of Webelow Scouts. I beleive that the Eagle lives in the high cliffs.
Take RT 85 North, left on RT 11, then left on Quaker Ridge Rd. To the entrance of the Ridge Road. Drive your car to the top of Quaker Ridge. Bring your picnic basket and enjoy the regions best viewin
This is the start of the Tenny River. Great boat ride, canoe or kayak down the Tenny River to Panther Pond. this is a wonderful Nature Run!

We had our family reunion at Kossow Lodge -- 24 adults and 7 children (ages 6 and under) and the lodge and the Eatons were wonderful. The lodge is very roomy and cozy at the same time and there's tons to do at the house. The kids loved the sandbox, basketball hoop, kayaks, sprinkler and the dollhouse in the toy room. The adults loved the huge porch in the back and the water toys. We also liked the firepit for s'mores. There was more than enough room for everyone and it was amazing that we didn't feel crowded with all the people we had! We'd love to go back! It was truly a memorymaking week for us.

This was our 1st Shyne Family reunion which consisted of 7 siblings, their spouses and children. We LOVED Kossow Lodge. Our mother grew up in Portland ME and we spent many summer vacations in ME including a stay on Sebago Lake. Our week at Kossow Lodge brought back many great memories. The house comfortably fit our family of 22. The house is so well appointed. There is something for everyone. We used the lobster cooker, spent many hours by the outside fireplace, playing badmitton and joying the pristine lake. I recommend Kossow lode without reservation. We all want to return soon.

Tri-annual sibling reunoin. 20 of 36 in attendance. What a great spot to spend a week together with immediate family. Plenty to do, both on property, as well as within short drive. Small enough to characterize as intimate yet large enough to have your quiet space and elbow room. Thank you Eatons for providing such a great setting for being together and enjoying the summer activities the region has to offer. I know it sounds like a cliche, but a great time was truly had by ALL!!!!

May 1st weekend 2009- Girls weekend 17 women who have been friends since childhood-even though some of us are sisters- we overlooked that fact and had a complete blast! Thank goodness these walls can't talk!! Thank you eaton family!!

Another great Holiday weekend and week at Kossow Lodge. Highlights were clearing the ice and building a hockey rink to have lots of great hockey games with the Nadesus from Mass. Lots of great relaxation after a wonderful 2008 and looking forward to an even more spectacular 2009. happy holidays to the Eaton's and all the families that enjoy kossow Lodge in 2009.

What a perfect spot for our eighth bi-annual re-union. Again the whole family from California, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Seven grands from ages 23 to 8 and Argentina for the occasion. Great weather, incredible meals, lots of water activities, s'mores, and we have absolutely loved the lodge. We're grateful for all the amenities.....even sharp knives! Peg Wilson, The Galaghers, the Hardys, the Jennings and two families of goodwins. Thanks to the Eatons-Lots of it.

After planning 2 years ago we're finally here in celebration of our parents 50th anniversary! We needed to find a house large enough for all of us! we also wanted to head north, warm days and cool nights! This wonderful home had something for everyone....quiet porch for reading,game room for tournaments and talent show,toy playroom for imaginations and movie making,dvd corner for watching movies(or snoring through them),kitchen for cooking, gathering in,bar tending or rearranging food in,floating,fishing,kayaking,canoeing,feeding the ducks,swimming and rafting across the lake,motor boating,scuba diving, a great table to do puzzles,another great table where we could all sit aroung playing crazy games and laughing so hard and loud! Badminton court and basketball,nice scenic driveway for stroller pushing....we had it all! Even a day at the ocean(water temp 58 degrees)and the gem mines. We have all enjoyed an amazing week here with each other. Thank you for your generosity.
