We had a great stay on Merritt Island. The house was great and was very clean. My grand kids visited and had a ball fishing off the dock and catching jelly fish. Saw a couple of dolphins. The inclosed deck was wonderful. The view of the creek everyday was very relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. Only one comment is there was not a dish washer. I guess I am spoiled, but the last thing I want to do on my month vacation is wash dishes. There was no claim to a dish washer, but I assumed there would be. My fault. Other wise we had a ball. Got to meet the owners and they were lovely people. The washing machine broke and they had a new one there in a day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My wife & I had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful property. The house was clean, well maintained, and def ready to rent....not the case in some of our experiences in the past. Very nice owner..came to the house when needed...easy to deal with. We loved it so much, that we booked the property for March 2014. We jst left, but can't wait to return in 11 months.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Great winter retreat from the cold up north. Had a great time and enjoyed the Rivers, Creeks and Birds. Made friend with a Blue Heron and even named him. Plenty of entertainment in the surrounding communities. Ocean water no too cold to swim in if you have the constitution for it. More dining experiences than you can imagine.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.
