Quintessential Hollywood Hills getaway. A favorite haven for actors, writers, directors and artists. Stay amidst the Old Hollywood charm of this classic Spanish duplex built in the Golden Era of 1920's Hollywood. Hardwood floors and French doors open to a large, fabulous deck with sweeping city views. Beautifully appointed and well-equipped.

This one-of-a-kind retreat is situated on a walking street in an area variously called Little Italy and Hollywood Heights, as the canyon view to the right of the deck looks very Italian and the view straight ahead is literally and figuratively pure Hollywood. A fountain below the deck adds to the charm and quietude.

Ideally located within walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood & Highland (site of the Academy Awards), Mann's Chinese Theatre, Historic Hollywood and Vine, and the Egyptian, El Capitan, and Pantages Theatres; and a five-minute drive to film and television studios including Universal Studios and the Hollywood sign.

Beautifully furnished and well-equipped bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and deck. $1,000 - $1,250 per week; $3,450 per month. Rates include Ethernet, a phone/fax line with local/national calls and fax machine, and satellite TV.

WEEKLY MAID SERVICE AND BASIC LAUNDRY ARE INCLUDED FOR STAYS OF TWO OR MORE WEEKS.

  • It was our good fortune to find that you had a last minute opening for your ideal retreat in the city. I never had any inkling that LA was beautiful and serene. It always seemed to be a lot of hype, glitz and plastic. But staying in your one bedroom retreat changed my mind. The porch is serene, quiet, and pastoral in the midst of the hum of the city. It's location, on the other hand, made it convenient for everything. The less-is-more atmosphere helped us keep our minds uncluttered and our bodies comfortable. Thanks Debra for having such a marvelous haven. We're regretful that you don't have availability for our needs next month

  • Comment Text: I had the pleasure of staying in this incredible guest house this past summer. Leaving the traffic, noise, and general chaos behind, I wove my way up the secluded tiled path leading to the entry of this charming guest house. The elegant simplicity of this 1930's style house and the stunning view from the private balcony made it the perfect place to stay. Sitting on the balcony in the evening, looking down over the spectacular beauty of Hollywood Hills and just listening to the quiet, was a perfect way to greet the evening, soothe the frazzled soul, and renew my spirit for the coming day. I would have loved to stay forever. I highly recommend this secluded treasure to anyone seeking something more than the mundane.
