  This condo is in a fantastic location close to Alii Drive. It is set back from the road and is very quiet. The condo is clean and well appointed, just like in the pictures. There is a good collection of snorkel gear as well as beach towels and other toys for the great pool on site. If I ever get a chance to go back to Kona, this is the place I'll be trying to stay!

  The condo, trip, and condo owners were fabulous. Everyone at the complex was friendly too. Everything was better than anticipated. The condo had everything listed in it's description. The condo location was safe and the complex very comfortable. It's in a location that you can walk around and get to places fairly easy without a car (if you like to walk). The condo complex cat "Mouser" was an added touch. He came out to visit us everytime we were sunning by the pool. The BBQ grills were great too. Property is clean and well maintained. The complex was under construction while we were there. They are having solar panels installed. The jack hammers started at around 8am but they didn't bother us as we were always gettting ready to head out for a daily adventure. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. The condo rental price is very, very reasonable. I was surprised by the food prices at the local grocery stores but not the restaurant prices for food, as I live in a tourist area at home. I am already trying to figure out when I can get back to another relaxing vacation at this condo, this year or next! Their calendar fills up fast and I can see why. You won't regret giving this place a try.

  My husband and I have been staying in properties listed on VERBO for 8 years and this is one of the best locations we have spent a week. The condo was very pleasant to stay and there was almost everything we could ask for at our finger tips. I loved the beach accessories they had for us to use, snorkel gear, the best beach chairs and umbrella we have had at any beach vacation. The property itself was great as we walked around town we were able to look around a bit and were VERY pleased with our find. The grounds had trees and grass and the condo while close to the pool but we never heard a splash while in the condo or on the deck. The pool was often not being used so we had it to ourselves and the BBQ’s where well maintained. The only drawback was that the complex is having some work done, so you might want to ask where they are in the process. The workers started at around 6:30, this wasn’t a problem for us as we are early risers and apparently the construction is taking place in three phases and they are in phase one right now. Just something to check on, but not sure it would stop us from staying here in the least. The complex was a 5 min walk to Ali Drive, my husband and I were able to walk down and watch the sunset each night. It was really nice! We were able to park the car and walk to dinner, breakfast and lunch and to where we rented Kayaks. It really was perfect. There was also easy access to highway out of town to get to the beaches. There was Wal-Mart or the Target close to the condo, 3-5 minute drive in opposite directions. The target was our preference as it had a better selection of food and more of what we were looking for. We also were able to walk down to the farmers market to purchase fresh produce a couple of time, it was a treat. I would highly recommend staying at this property if you are a couple. If we had been staying with our two teenage daughters it would have been a bit cramped.

  We enjoyed the condo's amenities,especially the lanai. Bruce and Bernice have decorated and upgraded the condo to take care of every need. We loved having our morning coffee and evening meals on the lanai. The Murphy bed in the living room was great for our son. The condo is conveniently located close to the pool and BBQ's. The BBQ's were not working very efficiently but the management was replacing them very soon. Close proximity to old town and to farmers market that we took advantage of. We were there during major construction of putting on new roofs and installing solar panels so it would be unfair to talk about how quiet it was, but I can imagine that once that is taken care of it would be nice and quiet. In that respect our timing was not the best but we were out exploring the island most of the time. Bruce and Bernice's tips on where to go for dinner and beaches were spot on. All in all we had a great time on the Big Island and would recommend it to our friends. Thank you Bruce and Bernice!

  We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as promised and any changes that were not in the listing where emailed to us, so there were no surprises. We encountered one small issue that was quickly fixed (on xmas day!) and felt that the owners were very proud of their property and wanted us to have a truly wonderful experience in paradise. Location was great and very accessible to everything Kona has to offer. Owners also helped us out with great advice on things to do and see while we were travelling the Big Island.

  The condo is close to everything. My daughter and I enjoyed this very much. The condo has everything you need, from great snorkle gear to beach towels. Even a parking cone to save your space. Thanks Bruce and Bernice for a great get away.

  The owners of this property were extremely friendly and accommodating in making our stay very comfortable. This property is centrally located on the Kona side of the island for both vehicle and foot traffic. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the ocean side restaurants and shops. The food is fantastic and the majority of restaurants overlook the ocean. We did rent a vehicle (which the condo has its own parking space) to explore the island and the property pretty much divides the north and south routes from Hilo to the volcano. The condo is very well maintained and modern. The washer and dryer were a big plus. It served us well for the two weeks. The listing of amenities is accurate with all the beach gear supplied with chairs, towells, masks, snorkels, flippers, coolers, etc. Snorkeling is close by (10 minute walk) with the most popular site within 6 miles to the south. The beaches are fantastic and the water is warm. The property has a well maintained pool which is not heavily used. The majority of the time we spent at the pool (daily for a couple of hours) we had it to ourselves! We really enjoyed our time on the island and having this as home base was a fantastic experience. We do plan to return.

  My husband and I stayed at Bruce and Bernice's condo for almost a month in January. We were so impressed with the space and cleanliness of the condo. It was stocked with everything one would need for a great vacation. We loved the snorkeling equipment and we were lucky to swim with the dolphins at Hookena Bay. The two flat screen TV's were wonderful. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. We were just a few steps away from the pool which was great! Everyone was so friendly to us in the complex. We were just a block above Allii drive which was perfect. No road noise at all. We really loved our stay and would recommend it to others. It was obvious Dennis and Bernice put a lot of time and effort into making this a perfect vacation retreat.

  This property was exactly as described. It was clean and airy, and we loved having fresh ground Kona coffee and breakfast on the lanai. We had a wonderful time visiting the fresh food market 5 minutes away and walking Ali Drive at night. Several interesting beaches were close by and there were many fun day trips. The owners were available by cell and email and were very helpful. We hope to come back and would love to stay here again.

  This is a bit overdue as we stayed in this unit for 7 days for Ironman in October. It was a perfect location for this on Kuakini, 100m from Hot Corner and after seeing racers pass, you can "race" through the carpark opposite, down to Ali'i Drive to catch them on the finish-line. Perfect. Unit was a good size for 2 of us, and the Wifi was most appreciated, my partner being lost without his technology! Oneway driveway onto which the bedroom faces was a bit noisy with one occupant leaving at 5:30am everyday, and a bit small the HUGE rental car we were given!! Had to shop for toilet paper and soap-powder to do laundry, otherwise everything else we needed was there. Didn't really use balcony as more pleasant in airconditioning, but not too hot as did not get any direct sunlight. Apart from some hiccups with getting payment made from this part of the world, this was all very easy - Bruce and Bernice very helpful and friendly, and I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to be central in Kailua Kona - just not on Ironman week as we want to stay again!!
