Open the doors to your own rustic retreat nestled in the hills and surrounded by trees and open pasture. Overlook the Strait of Juan de Fuca and see what it really means to be where the mountains meet the sea.
At Call of the Wild Lodge, you can experience the warmth of the Summer, the green pastures of the Spring, the orange leaves in the Fall, and the thick white snow in the Winter. Trails located just moments down the country road, encouraging hikers, bikers, and soon, our equestrian friends! See why people rave about mountain air- you will soon find it addicting!
This 4,200+ sq. ft. Canadian Spruce home is warm and inviting to large groups and families. The Coca-Cola themed kitchen is decorated by a collection of Coca-Cola antiques found over the years, items that can only be seen here! There will be no problem making conversation at the dinner table with the endless conversation starters scattered across the top of the cabinets.
You will feel like royalty, the lodge contains 5 bedrooms with only queen and king sized beds with privacy and a luxurious master bedroom and bath. Enter the master bedroom through rustic double doors into a suite with a red leather couch, you can only see in the movies, and a willow headboard against a king sized bed. Our lodge also includes a sleeping loft complete with two pull out couches or “sleeper sofas” with a double bed as well. Perfect for kids or any additional guests or family members. Take a stroll down to our spacious rec room with a bar and large cowboy mural that will surly take your breath away. Feel like a real equestrian while sitting on our barstools topped with different types of saddles, pick what type of riding you like best!
In our spacious downstairs bedrooms, we have one room with a queen sized bed and other with a king bed. The rooms have beautiful murals on the wall that will make your jaw drop.
Our bedrooms are all so different and make your sleeping choice a difficult pick since the unique feel of each room is hard to pass up. We have rooms with views, sliding doors, private balconies, and much more! The room choice is up to you, but we know you will be satisfied with any selection!
Feel like a warm night under the stars? Take a dip in our large hot tub and relax. Take a seat and overlook the lights of town, the lighthouse, and the lit up cargo ships. The feeling is like nothing you have ever experienced, so grab a glass of our complimentary wine and hop in!
Our garage is set up with Foosball, ping-pong, and more for fun for the whole family! We also supply bikes in the garage, so feel free to test ride the trails!
No matter where you look, the lodge décor or the jaw dropping view will catch your eyes. Whether you choose to go sledding in the powdered snow, or take a short drive to town to explore the lavender farms Sequim is known for, you will never be bored on vacation.
We offer weddings, family reunions, along with private spa and massage parties where you can feel the real definition of relaxation in our quiet, tucked away setting. We also offer our “mountain-to-sea” package with 10% off your stay when you rent the lodge and our The Sequim Beach House, moments away.

This house is fully stocked with everything you need. We didnt have to bring anything but food for the weekend! Full Kitchen with untensils, pans, and grilling gear was very very useful! I loved that all the beds where very comfy and had comforters. The master bathroom had a bunch of towels, all clean! The fall decor also really go to me! I really want to come back here! Hopefully my friends and I can do this again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family spent several days at the lodge (June 15-18, 2012) in preparation for and following our daughter's wedding at the Cutting Garden in Sequim. It was absolutely wonderful to enjoy the spacious, beautifully furnished and uniquely decorated surroundings. The advertised amenities cannot fully prepare you for the reality of the experience. The well-equipped gourmet kitchen accommodated all of our needs and the deck made a great socializing spot for viewing the deer that frequent the property. The hot tub was a big hit for de-stressing after days filled with activity. The fireplace was a welcomed treat after the chilling winds that greeted us during part of the outdoor reception at the wedding venue. Whether fog-shrouded or sunshine -drenched, the scenery is amazing and tranquil. The private setting, yet convenience to town is especially attractive. This is much more than comfortable accommodations; the warmth that greeted us at the door, the beautiful rustic design and country appeal made this truly a home away from home. The wineries were a nice escape, and we enjoyed the drive to Neah Bay and hiking the Cape Flattery trail to the western-most point of the contiguous United States. We will certainly stay here again if travels find us back in the area. Having helped run a family outfitting business in Montana for many years, I realize it is word of mouth advertising and returning customers that say the most about the success of your efforts. Thank you to the owners for all that they do to make this experience possible.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Every January, my girlfriends and I choose a fun rental house for a long weekend. We were intrigued by this lodge and were even more impressed when we arrived :) Every room had it's own unique charm and there was plenty of room for our group of 8. The beds were very comfortable (mine was like sleeping on a cloud!), the view beautiful, the hot tub relaxing, and the Coco Cola collection fun to look at. The lodge was well stocked with everything we needed and Martha was great to work with! This is the perfect place for large groups, multiple families, disabled guests (large doors on entry level to bedrooms and bathroom), and anyone who wants to get away to a beautiful, relaxing location. We were definitely not ready to leave after 3 nights....Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I was stunned as I entered the kitchen area and saw all the beautiful green wood cabinets and sparkling appliances. I could not pull myselft away to look at the rest of the lodge for fifteen minutes. The lodge is awesome, beautiful, and cozy. My family and I enjoyed three nights four days celebrating in the hot tub, game room, kitchen and in front of a roaring fire. I chose this lodge because of the space (I needed to sleep 22 people) and the dining table ( I wanted everyone to enjoy sitting down together to eat). I will never forget our time together. I brought my I-pod and Boze speaker and we enjoyed the music of three generations. I cried when it was time to leave. My last moments were photos of us on the saddle bar stools with cowboy hats on (from the fireplace mantel) with smiles on our faces. If you get a chance to experience this unique canadian spuce lodge, you will never forget it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years and this lodge was easily the nicest place we've stayed at. It was as if someone said to me pick everything you'd want in a vacation home and then created it for me. The home is simply amazing and managed to make us feel like we were royalty and yet completely at home at the same time. The decor there is unbelievable and we could have stayed a week and still have been excited and discovering new things. The owner has put a lot of personal touches into the place. The home is very clean and smells fresh. The murals painted on the wall were surreal. There is so much to do there too...play basketball, foosball, air hockey, ride bikes, take walks around the property and trail, bbq, read in front of the fire, play games, relax on the deck and watch ships passing or the lighthouse. The (completely private) hot tub was the best we've ever been in with a foot massager that felt amazing! It also has an awesome jacuzzi tub in the master suite and a claw foot tub in another bedroom. No shortage of relaxation opportunities! It was the perfect location, so close to town in miles, yet felt like a world away with the solitude, the fresh air and the sounds of nature. I had a hummingbird fly right up to my face on the deck, deer pass through the meadow, so many birds around. I heard cows and horses in the distance. The kitchen was huge and had an abundance of cookware, appliances, utensils, etc. It even has a window seat so you can sit and look out over the water. One of the best things for me was seeing my dogs have such a fun time there! They had so much room outside to run around and explore and for us to play fetch with them. We even found dog treats for them in the pantry! It was hard to leave, but I hope to get back and experience it again. We live in Sequim and if we have anyone ask us where they should stay, this will be my first recommendation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The Call of the Wild Lodge was very spacious for our 5-families. Our kids (age 1-6) enjoyed going on hikes, playing in the loft-area, and playing foosball. It was nice to have the downstairs area for them to watch their movies and play games. The main floor was very spacious and we enjoyed playing boardgames in the living room. The views were really and although being close to downtown Sequim, the Lodge felt very secluded and relaxing. We spent an afternoo at the Olympic Game Park which is a must-see while in Sequim! The only disppointments on our trip was that the oven and hot tub weren't functioning properly which were inconvenient. The kitchen lacked a few key small appliances, but overall was very accommodating. Martha was very responsive to our requests and overall provided a very nice vacation for our group. If you make a reservation please make sure you confirm that the oven and hot tub are working properly.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The lodge was fabulous, the amenities remarkable, and the overall experience was just amazing. There was plenty of space inside to hang out as a group in several areas. The owners thought of everything in making sure there was plenty to do (inside and out!), and the lodge lacked nothing in terms of the little details. It was a GREAT place to hang out for the weekend, and even better that it could include so many of our closest friends and dogs as well!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
