Sicamous Sands is a private 'Gated' Family Resort on Shuswap Lake. Walk to the town of Sicamous for all your essentials. The Resort has 2 play parks for kids, gazebo for spontaneous Pot Lucks, Clubhouse with Wireless WiFi, a small library, and 2 hot tubs. Horse shoe pits, sand volleyball court, and basketball hoop are also available.
As a lake Community, there is plenty of water activity, but also hikes in nearby Nature Park and Provincial Mountain Parks. (We have many pictures).
The Park Model itself is for 4 persons. 1 Queen bed in the master, and a Bunk bed in the small 2nd bedroom. It is fully furnished and essential supplies are all there ... linens, towels, pots & pans, plateware & cutlery, fridge with icemaker, stove, dishwasher, micro, washer & dryer, and patio BBQ. We just added a ceiling fan in the master bedroom! Private dock is available at an extra charge. Some 'kids furniture' is available: highchair, playpen, stroller, and tricycle.
Our focus is on the 'quiet' months of May, June, and September, when the kids are in school. July and August are the busy months, and pretty much booked up with Guest Families on an Annual basis.

This vacation property was everything that we were hoping for and then some. We are generally very picky travelers and this place was very clean and comfortable for us. We stayed here with little kids, and our daughter really enjoyed the public park which is just across the walking bridge from the resort area. Very convenient if you park your boat at the private dock to just get up and go. Owners live nearby and are very friendly, overall this was a wonderful experience for us.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Lot #18 (Check out the Photo Album) Most homes in the park are trailers, commonly referred to as Park Models. These are very similar to Park Models (trailers) found through out Arizona, that Snowbirds utilize! The Park Model is fully furnished, and consists of : Living Room: with basic cable TV, DVD player, and sliding doors to the covered patio. Kitchen & Eating Area: all the pots, pans, cutlery, plateware, small appliances, etc. Appliances include: refrigerator & ice maker, gas stove & oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Master bedroom: queen bed, all linens, comforters, closet & drawers. Bathroom: sink, shower, and toilet. Spare Bedroom: has single bunk-bed (max 2 persons), closet. Covered Patio: table, various chairs, propane BBQ. Driveway: max 2 cars Storage: available under the park model (for golf clubs, fishing gear, etc.) In the Sicamous area: There is almost everything you could wish for. Golf: numerous outstanding courses in the area. Fishing: in many different lakes, for many types of fish. Basic Shopping / Restaurants: (Groceries) are well covered in Sicamous, 'Walking distance'! Better Shopping / Restaurants: are only 25 mins away in Salmons Arm. City Shopping / Restaurants: are 1 hour away in Kelowna or Kamloops. Nature Park walks: right beside Sicamous Sands! Hikes / cycling: many 'easy - challenging' within 1 hour drive! .... and more. (Theater, movies, car shows, antiques, museums, etc.) Scenery: everywhere you turn!
