Ideally located on a quiet upscale street in the center of Venice Beach community, the Other Place is just a short walk to retails and cafes, and a 5 minutes bicycle ride to the 'it' hubs of Abbot Kinney and Santa Monica Main Street. Sand and waves are only 2 miles down.

The Opposite House was in a great location with a comfortable and modern décor. Huge bedroom and bath suite. Kitchen and living room spaces were small but efficiently set-up. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and included a sun deck, table/chairs and an outdoor grill. Everything we needed was provided. We'll definitely be back!

When I received the detailed instructions for check-in I felt very 007, international spy-ish, but any trepidation I felt about the process, instantly dissipated upon my arrival and easy access to the property. My reservation at The Opposite House was initially for 3 days, but I extended it to 5 when I saw what an incredibly clean, comfortable & beautiful space it was. The bedroom is huge, the bed is big enough for 3 adults & the bathroom was more like a spacious private spa. Every design detail was brilliantly executed to make staying at the property a wonderful, unforgettable experience. There is no doubt that the hosts invested their hearts and souls into creating a space worthy of Architectural Digest!

I wish I lived here! The backyard is amazing and having a private parking spot is a huge win. Everything inside the house was great. You can its been renovated to rent but it didn't detract from it's appeal. There is even a doggy door from the room to the backyard.
