Beautiful home located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. The direct beach access is an easy walk for any family (300 feet). This Caribbean style house has a different theme in each bedroom. There is a third floor deck with partial ocean views and is a great place to enjoy the sun and surf.
There is a screened porch on the third floor for when the weather is not so sunny or to take advantage of the gorgeous Carolina sunsets! This gem of a beach house is comfortably furnished and boasts a fireplace, private pool, hot tub and Rec room with wet bar and foosball table. This house is sure to please any family and their budget!

THIS HOUSE IS AMAZING!!!!! Let me first start off with how wonderful the owners are to deal with. They returned my phone calls the same day. They were extremely friendly to deal with. There were 8 of us that went the week of Thanksgiving. The house is at a wonderful location. It was easy to walk to the beach with a 16 month old and a 6 year. You can see the beach access from the home….it is really only about 300 feet from the beach!!!! We did not use the pool or the hot tub so I’m not able to comment about those. All the bedrooms are large. Last Thanksgiving we were so cramped in our room with a king size bed and a pack’n’play. This year we had so much extra room in the bedroom the kids were able to play but still be close enough to the living room we could keep an eye on them. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were too. It is very unusual for me not to complain about the beds. The screened in porch was great for the older children to play. We all really hope we can go back to this house next year.

I must have emailed 100 VRBO listings to try to rent a house back in September 2009. This house and one other were the only two that had actual owners write me back. The owner was GREAT to work with and the House was beautiful! We were two families w/ three kids (ages 2, 3, and 10 months). We really enjoyed our stay. The beach is an easy walk, even with kids. The hot tub was great! Unfortunately, it rained quite a few days of our stay, but we had a great trip anyway!!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

My relatives and I have never had a family beach vacation before. What a perfect place Caribbean Dream was for this gathering. One aunt LOVED the master bedroom with high ceilings and open floor plan. Lots of extras were provided for that we did not anticipate (extensive kitchen items, pool and beach toys, and every other day pool & hot tub chemical check, etc.). The three floors & abundance of space was ideal and provided plenty of room to relax. It was only a very short, direct walk to the beach. Beach access also has public parking (which was nice for our less healthy family members). Lifeguards were on duty daily. Despite a short week due to the evacuation caused by Hurricane Earl, we could not have asked for anything else.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
