"My wife and I had the opportunity to rent this beautiful home, not only is the home well maintained, it boats amenities not typically found at other homes we have rented in the past, heated pool, outside hot tub off the master, I loved relaxing in the pool watching the roaming deer on the lawn behind the home abutting the lake, large gourmet kitchen made cooking at home fun, we enjoyed the close walk to the shops, restaurants, tennis courts and bike rental. The home is a 4 min walk to the beach, the home is located in the Sea Pines resort which contains several nice villages. The best part of renting this home is the miles and miles of bike trails which run throughout the entire resort. I would highly recommend renting this home to anyone, single, married, kids or no kids. There is enough room for anyone."Guest: Smarttraveler Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 27, 2014View listing
"Our family stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. We had a great time. My girls loved kayaking and fishing off the dock in our back yard! The condo was very clean and cozy. It was fully stocked with anything you would need. Mary was very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again."Guest: Dena L. "This condo is in a beautiful and very relaxing location. The beach is just a two minute walk away - we saw dolphins every day! We did a lot of biking around the Island and along the beach. The condo was a little small for us - 2 adults and 2 teenagers - but would be awesome for a couple or a young family. We made it work though. The kitchen is fairly small and fine for basic meal preparation - more complex cooking will be a challenge though. This condo made a great home base for or Island adventures!"Guest: Andrew S. "We have traveled to HHI four summers now. This was our favorite house by far. We had my family of 4, my sister's family of 5, and my parents and we had plenty of room. We had a very short walk to the beach and we were completely comfortable allowing our young teens to come and go from the beach. The pool was kept very clean throughout our week. I highly recommend renting bikes as South Beach and Harbour Town was about an easy 1 1/2 mile ride. Our teens thoroughly enjoyed the pool and foosball table. We will definitely stay here again!"Guest: Jennifer Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 22, 2014View listing
South Beach Travel Tips
South Beach Vacation Rentals Are the Best Available
When you book one of the many South Beach vacation rentals, you can enjoy a space that's roomy, comfortable, clean and feels a lot more like home than a hotel room. Plus, you get the added benefit of staying near the beach, where you can walk out your door and go for a swim anytime you want. From many South Beach vacation rentals, you can reach the beach by walking, and the trip takes just a couple of minutes. When you stay on Hilton Head Island, South Beach beach rentals can't be beat.
Activities That Attract the Crowds
The population of Hilton Head Island increases 300% during the summer. Why? Because there's so much fun to be had by travelers of all ages. Swimming, boating, kayaking, snorkeling and hanging out at the beach are popular activities for everyone on Hilton Head Island, whether they're tourists or locals. If you want to venture a little bit away from the beach, try a visit to the marshlands. Rent a boat for an up close view, and if you really want to spice things up, rent two boats and you can have a race with friends or family traveling with you. At the end of the day, you don't have to retreat. Stay out on the beach and visit one of the offshore bars, where you can hang out under the stars and enjoy the beautiful Hilton Head Island evenings.
Go Wild for Hilton Head Island Wildlife
Alligators, manatee and dolphins all make an appearance around Hilton head Island, and you can also enjoy spotting some of the many bird species in the area. In fact, the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island homes can help you learn more about sea turtles on the island, and why they're in danger of extinction.
