Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
This cozy cabin is nestled high off Ivy Log Mountain, just 2 miles from downtown Blairsville. The privacy makes it an ideal romantic getaway or honeymoon retreat. If you need a place to chill so you can get an 'Altitude Adjustment,' this cabin is for you. It truly has the look and feel of a tree house. The interior walls are all natural tongue-and-groove pine, except for the master bedroom. There is a covered back porch with a swing and rocking chairs that face the full long range mountain view when the leaves are down and partial view when everything is blooming. A very large open deck comes off from the porch where the hot tub is located. On cold nights, you can snuggle up to the indoor stone fireplace. Or, if you are up for roasting marshmallows around a campfire, there is another area below the deck including a firepit, picnic table, and bench.
There is plenty to do besides 'chilling' at the cabin. Lake Nottely is one mile down the road and Lake Chatuge is 15 minutes north in Hiawassee. Take a very scenic hour drive over the mountains to Helen. Vogel State Park is just 15 minutes south, and offers a variety of activities from paddle boats and miniature golf to hiking trails and waterfalls. Antiquing, shopping, and golfing at Butternut Golf Course is just down the mountain from the cabin. Our local Meeks Park offers many trails and access to the Nottely river for fishing and kayaking. Within 2 hours, you can be in the beautiful Nantahala Gorge white-water rafting.
The 'Georgia Mountain Fair' happens in August.
The 'Sorghum Festival' happens in October, which is PEAK season in the mountains!

Beautiful views and great weather
Overall the whole trip including the cabin rental was what we expected and was a great experience. Will stay here again for a weekend getaway!
Definitely an altitude adjustment!!
My husband and I enjoyed out stay at your beautiful cabin. It was so quiet and relaxing..just what was needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and looking out at the beautiful view. The cabin was decorated very nice and was well equipped. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your piece of heaven.
Very cozy and clean and located not too farfr town
My family really enjoyed the hot tub, view and clean cabin!
Beautiful & Peaceful
We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! The views were wonderful and the location was perfect - just minutes away from almost anything you might need! The cabin itself also had everything that we needed and my boys (3 & 7 years old) loved the loft & fire pit area. We even saw deer on our last morning there - we couldn't have asked for anything else!
Thanks Alisha! Nice to know your family had a great time.
A relaxing time.
The view and peaceful surroundings were wonderful—a great way to relax. The cabin was cozy and well supplied with all the basic necessities. Lisa, the owner, was easy to contact and responsive to address any small issue. I’d definitely come back again!
Awesome mountain getaway
This was one of the most memorable vacations the family and I have had yet. The cabin was so perfect that we ended up requesting to extend our vacation another night. The kids (ages 6 and 4) loved the fire pit (for making s'mores), the loft for playing, and late night mario kart sessions on the Wii. The view was amazing and perfect. We really spent alot of time at the cabin, but we did go to vogel state park, ate a Jim's Smokin Que (fantastic ribs), let the children play at a local playground (located right before you get to the Walmart), and went to the Christmas Lights at the Georgia Mount State Fair inc.
The cabin is located downhill from the road so there are steep stairs going down to the cabin. The parking was ok, I left the parking spot on the right open for turning around and parked my full sized truck in front of the cabin. My Father visited us on Thanksgiving and I we were able to get both trucks parked with no problem. During our stay though, I will say that there were a handful of Lady bugs trying to winterize in the cabin (especially in the main room). But nothing too bad.
